Review: Evocative, sometimes obscure poems -- but thoroughly grounded in the world, thoroughly and sharply attentive to the tiny motions of the world. If the Pslams had been written in Pasadena, this is what you'd get.

This is one of my favorite books. Kind of a cross between Leonard Cohen's "Book of Mercy" and Lydia Davis's short stories.
