Rating: Summary: Nothing is sacred Review: Anthing Goes by Jessica Tilles is the perfect title for this book. It is a mix of passion, betrayal, jealously, selfishness and raw uninhibited sex.Twenty-seven year old Raven Ward's sexual escapades have no boundaries. She does not care who her partners are or where the action takes place, and the freakier the better. Hurt from being jilted at the altar, she seems to carry the weight of the devil perched on her shoulder. She talks about a good man in her life, who will love her. But when the opportunity arrives to fulfill this desire, Raven is too deep into getting her freak on and too intent on paying some brothas back to embrace what is being offered. The supporting characters offered little support in terms of adding substance to the book. Everyone seemed to jump into a sexual abyss with only one thought: Anything goes. This is Ms. Tilles' debut novel and she has indeed written it from an interesting angle, but for me it was about living a 'nothing is sacred' life style. About over the top sex and not much else. This was not my kind of read, so I will not claim to be the best judge of this book. This is one you should read for yourself. Reviewed by aNN Brown
Rating: Summary: I hope there is a sequel! Review: I really enjoyed "Anything Goes." Jessica Tilles has done an outstanding job on her first book. The main character of the book Raven Ward is a scandolous woman who will stop at nothing to get her way. The book was so good I read it in one day! Ms. Tilles has hit a home run with this one. I hope she does a sequel.
Rating: Summary: AWESOME!!! Review: I'm a new true fan of Ms. Tilles, I too am a local Washingtonian and am sorry I didn't discover this talented lady sooner. I'm searching despartely now for a copy of Apple Tree. Anything Goes has so many twists and turns it will keep you wanting for more.
