Review: As a newcomer to astral travel, I found the material in this book helpful. How each person astral travels can be different, but I found the author's "guide" to astral travel to be quite good. She describes numerous "general topics" about astral travel, including the astral plane, time travel, healing and magick in the astral plane, and contacting spiritual teachers and guides. She gives guided meditation examples for each of these topics. I found her section on "travelling" to Atlantis intriguing for example. She also describes the types of entities you will find while travelling. While most are "good" and "helpful," there are "dark entities," which are found on the lower astral levels. She discusses ways of avoiding them and also spends an entire chapter discussing "astral defense," which is ways not only to avoid these "bad entities," but also ways to protect yourself if you sense you are under some form of "attack" while on the astral plane.While I greatly enjoyed this book, I'm in agreement with another reviewer who suggests reading other books on this topic. It's one that cannot be covered in one single book. However, this one is an excellent place to start.

Summary: Not for beginners.
Review: If one is just starting to learn astral projection, DO NOT use this book as a sole source of learning. It seemed to me that this book was more about what one can do in the astral plane and the options available, rather than on projection techniques. The only method of projection that the author mentions is one of the least successful (for beginners). To sum it all up: read it for interest in the astral plane, not for learning astral projection.

Summary: The Perfect Astral Tourguide
Review: If you are more creative and imaginative than practical, then Flying Without a Broom is definitely worth reading. It shows you the more wonderful, more magical side of the astral world. The exercises and guided tours inside have given me more than enough of a start to go wherever in the universe I want. My results have been wonderful, and yours should be, too!

Review: Maybe it's just me, but i did not GET this book. I did not think that it helped in astral projection at all. it tried to get you to travel to the places the author thought you should go. I was truly confused as to why I ever bought it.

Review: Not a bad book on astral travel it's nice book but astral travel can be alittle complex for some it's a guide book on how it works but i would get this book but also look for others and make sure you take the precations it would have gotten 5 star but like the review above i would have like to see a outline on topic which would made easy for newbies to understand But also books are just guides go with your feelings if a book does not feel right modify it if not a place ya want to go change the locations but i do stress practice and read up. Summary: A book of Catalog
Review: This book doesn't tell you much on the "Hows", but rather the "Wheres and Whats".... Not much on techniques. This is like a Catalog on where you can go or what you can do on the Astral. Though, you can apply the techniques to have an exit, but then again, no one uses the same technique. I give it 5 stars since this is one of a kind - There isn't much book out there to tell you what to experience or do in the Astral. Its also fun to read to see what is available out there.
The book will act as your guide to the Astral. I find it nice to go through it when you want to project. For those who are trying to project, this book will give you a feel of the Astral Realm.

Summary: HOLD THE PHONE
Review: this book teaches you how to do astral projection,magick in the astral plane,how to create a watcher,and how to protect your self on the astral plane. it also talks about astral lovers and how to pick them and looking in to akasha records of past lives. i reccomend this book
