Summary: A Good Introduction to Russian Folktales
Review: In this book, Jack Haney, presents a great introduction to the Russian folktale. It contains all the essentials for someone whose interest in russian folktales is just beginning and also contains enough information for those who want to deepen their knowledge/understanding of Russian folktales. It gets a little heavy at times, and that's why I gave it a four; except for this, it's a great book. Also, there is mention about further volumes to be written by Haney; this book put such a charge into me that I'm anxiously awaiting/trying to find the other volumes.
