Review: Life can change in an instant. Picked an old paperback copy of this up at a used book sale. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Easily one of the best "stories" I've read in years (and I read many, many contemporary fiction novels). If you ever take your relationships (family or friends) for granted, read this book. You won't anymore. It's extremely well written; authentic without seeming contrived.
