Rating: Summary: Select "Overnight" shipping for this one..waste no time! Review: Thank you for writing this book. God knows how many people can personally relate to one, if not several experiences Kalico was blessed to have lived through. I experienced so many emotions while reading it, and laughed many times. I commend her for her honesty and bravery. Talk about keeping it real, and with such style and wit! Needless to say, I read it in one sitting because I just couldn't put it down. I'll be the first one in line once her next book hits the store.
Rating: Summary: Haters Please - Natalie 138th & Convent Review: This book is a fantastic read laced with realism about a girl who has overcome so much adversity and pain. I loved this book and will tell everyone to go out and get it. I read it in ONE sit down last night after getting it at Hueman on 125th.
TO BOSTON (MISSY LING) There are no characters because the book is about the author. Its a journal, a diary, DUH? There is a way to give reviews that arent distasteful. I guess that's the FLIP SIDE OF THE GAME. conventgirl@yahoo.com REAL NAME and NOT a friend of the author.
Rating: Summary: You have got to be kidding!!!!! Review: This book was horrible!!!! I can't believe that after reading these reviews I special ordered this book because NO-ONE had it (that should have been my first hint) that I subjected myself to such inane prattle is actually my own fault. The author must have has 12 friends come on line and write reviews because that is the only way that this book could have gotten such high praise. What exactly is wrong with this book, you may be asking. Well I'll tell you what really made this book horrible for me-there where no characters. What? A book with no characters, how is that possible? This author does not have names for her character she has descriptions for them i.e. Mr. Gold Bracelet, or Mr. Toyota, or Mr. NBA how tedious. Also the story line gets choppy and starts becoming boring. After reading this review if you buy this book and like it then tell me where did I go wrong? Besides forking over my hard earned cash for this trash. By the way I have given this book away and somehow it always ends up back on my desk, in my mail box or even slide under my door. lol....It has become a joke on how it will be returned to me.
