Summary: REAL!!! REAL!!! REAL!!!
Review: 5 Stars aren't nearly enough, this is a GREAT read, and once I started I couldn't stop. This book has and will continue to touch the heart of many Women all over the world I can't stop talking about it. I'm so proud of you Mia! You mention this being part one of a trilogy I'm sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for part 2 and 3. Mia if anybody would measure your Creativity and your Resilience to the population of any 2 Cities in the World it would be Japan and Mexico the 2 most populated Cities in the world, because you are full of Creativity and we all know you are Resilient as hell. If I had a thousand tongues I still wouldn't be able to tell you enough that I have Enjoyed reading this book. I wish you all the best that Life has to offer. God Bless you and all of your endeavors.

Summary: Great details and realism
Review: Excellent book. I read it on one night. It kept me interested from beginning to end. I was just a little confused about the timelines, but it satisfied the purpose of inspiring me to continue getting up after all the mistakes and errors of life.

Summary: WOWEEEEEEEEE! Is she Forreal?
Review: First of all let me begin by saying I was shocked and amazed by the courage of Kalico Jones. Why she would put her business in the street escapes me but I'm happy she did. This book is right up there with the one I read two months ago to remain nameless cause this is not about that book, but this book is like a reality show on paper. Keep up the good work. I am waiting for the sequel.

Summary: Incredible Story
Review: Got this book from someone in my family, she belongs to a book club. They met this author and said the author was really down to earth and the story was true, so I read it. I love this book. I did feel she could have had chapters, but my cousin said its because she wrote it in conversational format. ITS A GOOD READ. I would say this book should be given to every girl living in the hood. What this author does makes her a brave woman. I am very proud of her and to know she has made it through. not everyone can say that. FIVE STARS IS NOT NEARLY ENOUGH.

Summary: HARD HITTING REALITY
Review: Gucci tells it like it is. This "tell all" novel exposes what really goes down when you live the street life. Kalico reveals what most women want to hide - a past filled with mistakes. But most importantly she shows the lessons learned and the changes made that turned her life around. This gripping novel is a blueprint for changing a life gone wrong. A must read.

Summary: good read
Review: I read this book and found it to be ok. It did not live up to the hype for me or it could be that I was just looking for something other than what the author wrote. I do appreciate her keeping it real and telling her personal story which I am sure took a lot of courage. I would recommend for all young women to read this one.

Summary: A MUST READ.....
Review: I really enjoyed the book. I couldn't put it down. I applaud Ms. Williamson for her being able to open up to the world about traumatizing events in her life. I am an avid reader, and never have I read a book in which the author laid everything out on the table. I was taken back alittle but yet I was interested in knowing more. I eagerly await her next venture"A Man Unnecessary". To all the people who are used to books with characters, let it go, it's a new day. Mia keep up the good work. You have a new fan....

Summary: It will make you laugh, cry, and cringe at the same time.
Review: Kalico Jones brilliantly captures the attention of the reader with her tell it like it attitude. She leaves no shell unturned as she exposes the lifestyles of the characters.
She entertains with her quick tongue and risky behavior and educates with her life learned lessons. This book will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you cringe the same time. It is definately a must read for women of all ages.
