Review: Designation Gold was not as good as Marcinko's other books. He contradicted some of his comments from earlier books. Also, it seems this was written by a different author...it just didn't read as well as earlier books. But it was still entertaining.

Careful examination of the book as in the other titles gives you numerous nuggets of information. Not only is the novel exciting but those who can read between the lines find a treasure trove of information.
