Review: With the present political climate we find ourselves in today, this book touches on issues that we could see happening around us in our near future. The struggle of good over evil is not a new theme, but this author has taken so many twists and turns in the plot that he has blurred the line so that we must decide for ourselves what is right and what is wrong. The characters are most complex and I enjoyed getting to know them. You cannot help but feel empathy for them as well frustration and anger at times. You are drawn in to their struggles and can decide for yourself whom you want to "win".
There is also an interesting sub-plot that keeps the reader guessing about the involvement of unseen forces. It begs the question of divine intervension in our lives.
If you enjoy a plot which is very thoughtful and current, this is a must read for you.
