Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A fast-paced plot of military fiction
Review: Fans of military fiction will find Bonaparte's Horsemen an involving account of 1807 Poland, where Napoleon is facing a dangerous battle and Sergeant Lausard his most decisive battle. Add historical insights to a fast-paced plot of military fiction and you have a story which just doesn't quit.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Napoleonic wars (described without much romanticism...)
Review: Napoleonic battlefields where a nightmare, but probably the conditions of warfare as a whole where also terrible due to the precarious conditions of suplies and logistics, add to this cold and mud and you'll have the cocktail wich resumes the historic fiction basis of this book.
A very good read if you do not mind horrid descriptions of combat in the XIXth century.
If a napoleonic buff specially recomended.
Only four stars but could have been five if a little more attention to small details (and less reiteration about weather conditions) had been taken in consideration.

A MUST FOR XIXth CENTURY FANS.
