I never returned the book, and after lending the book to 3 friends, who all never return the book to me, I now put my 4th copy in a drawer instead of displaying it with the rest of my books. It's a really mesmerizing!

Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: not what I expected Review: Kind of dissapointed. This was an O.k. read but very predictable. It took me alot longer to finish this book than usual. For a woman to spend her entire life seeking revenge against a man who betrayed her is rediculous. SPOILER AHEAD: And then for the group of friends who were closer than most people would ever be in life to be seperated permanently, and by choice, at the end was horrible.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Delightfully trashy! Review: This book is just a terrific read. From the first page, Ms. Harvey just draws you into the worlds of not only the main character, but the subplots are pretty enticing, as well. This book, along with the sequel, "Stars" (which you MUST read if you have read this book, and vice versa) are on my permanent summer reading list - books I re-read each year. Love, lust, revenge, redemption - it's all here. One of the best things about these books is that there is a sense of closure once you complete both volumes, unlike many novels which seem to end before the story is complete. Highly recommended!
