Summary: A Must Read....
Review: I haven't gotten "A Voice" just yet. But I loved "If I Should Speak", when I spoke with Umm Zakiyyah a few months to a year ago and found out that a sequal was in the works I was excited. I read the first book 4 times in 2 weeks. The first time I read it in 3 nights and the 2ed I took my time. That book was a very good book and I recomened it to non-Muslims to get a better understand of Islam and women and our statues, etc. I plan getting "A Voice" soon,a nd can't wait to read!!! If you haven't read the first PLEASE read!!!

Summary: Excellent!!
Review: I read Umm Zakiyah's first book and found it to be wonderful. It was the first time I had ever read a book from the Muslim fiction genre. As a fellow muslim I felt very uplifted and inspired after reading the book. It was simply amazing! I just had to read the sequel. After reading A Voice all I can say is that it is even better than its predecessor!! The plot thickens considerably and there are lots of good points that Umm Zakiyah makes about society that sticks with you even after finishing the book. I'm really glad I got the opportunity to read it, as it is truly life changing. I encourage everyone to read it as soon as possible!

Summary: Amazing
Review: If you do not have this book please get it. Trust me you won't regret it. Also if you don't have "If I should speak" treat yourself and get both.
I loved the first book and when I heard a sequel was in the works I couldn't wait. Well it was well worth it! I finished the 438 pages in 3 nights. I just couldn't put the book down and now I'm reading it again slowly for the second time. I sure hope she has a follow up for this one too.

Thank you Umm Zakiyyah for being "our voice". You did a wonderful job!!!!

Summary: A Voice, a great sequel and a must read
Review: To all of those that have read the first book If I Should speaks; you must get the second part.
You will see how Tamika's family took her conversion to Islam. Tamika will find love and lose love and find it all over again. This was a great book to read. I read it in one day, could not put this book down.
Umm Zakiyah, you are an inspiration and a voice to all of those that have converted to Islam. After reading your first book it was like that's my life story. May Allah (swt) reward you for blessing us with this book

Review: Wow! After reading the first book, "If I Should Speak" That is what I came out saying, WOW! Then "A Voice" Came out and I am astonished that Umm Zakiyyah could have possibly outdone herself. The book was riveting. I ached when I had to put it down. I was surprised, pleased, and most certainly captivated by her writing style and view point. She had me glued to my seat with this one. I would recommend this book as a MUST READ for all people, young and old. I hope to see another one in the very near future.
