Summary: Deadlands: all roleplayers should try it, and like it.
Review: After reading Deadlands, I just thought I had to share this with my players. Now, when I happen to say 'I may marshall a Deadlands next week', I just happen to have too many players.It is the first time a Western Game has been good. And it will be hard to ever do better. Summary: Great game...
Review: I've been playing role playing games for over 20 years. This is without a doubt the freshest new game since Star Wars. There is no limit to what type of characters you can play, and the system easily accommadates any action the players wish to perform. The rulebook is written in a manner that both new and old gamers will enjoy (sense of humor required). The game is fully backed up by great adventures (dime novels), minatures, and even an official website with current errata and "house rules". I highly recommend Deadlands. It's the Spagetti Western...with Meat.

Summary: New and innovative -- Deadlands tops the list!
Review: This is a game for both the neophyte or veteran gammer. A breath of fresh air, the Deadlands system offers a role-playing experience matched by few other systems. The system is fairly easy to learn, and offers a flexibility of play that is rare in RPG's. The use of a point system allows the player to create a character that has not only skills and abilities, but also has depth, personality, and motivation. The text is well written in a style that is not stilted or dense. Humor, horror and myth of the Old West are expertly blended to create an excting game world. Examples of play abound, and the artwork adds to the whole presentation without being distracting. All in all, Deadlands offers a wonderful opportunity to try a new game that is really worth the investment in both time and money.

Summary: A totally innovative roleplaying system
Review: This system is a must for roleplayers who have either become jaded with their existing system or just want to try something new. It provides a comprehensive story-line and time-line and gives the characters a whole new lease on development. The lay-out the book is easily read-able and engaging and provides the reader with an understanding of just how much is left to the players and Marshal. When I bought this book, I just had to show it to my roleplayign buddies, and they now are totally hook as I am sure you will be. If you wish to know more contact me or the Deadlands list serve.
