Summary: East Meets West
Review: I borrowed a copy of the Hours of Youth from a friend of the author, whom I had met two years ago. My friend recommended it to me to read and I wasn't disappointed. I haven't read the whole book, but by just browsing through it and opening the book at random pages still provides a good impression of the contents and the style of the poems. Most of them that I have read are very enjoyable and stand independently on their own without having to read the other ones. The description of the book keeps true to its word. Many of the poems are very lyrical, almost melodic, and full of imagery and eloquent words. I highly recommend it to any one who likes writing with an Eastern flavor or is interested in exploring such forms.

Summary: Good stuff!
Review: I bought the book on recommendation of an old friend in Boston. I really liked the style and thought that the imagery was very rich and lavishly phrased. The words are powerful and I personally think, quite romantic. I wish someone would write me such poetry!

Summary: An enchanting collection
Review: I came across this book by recommendation of a friend who had read the author's first title, Love and Yore. I found the writing rather impressive and quite reminiscent of a style poignant in the likes of Rumi and the classical 13th century Persian poet Saadi. The lyrical poems have an inner voice to them that carries a sentiment of sagacity and timelessness. Observations are made and conveyed in a metric that is both convincing and illuminating. A great deal of colourful and vivid imagery is used through the continuum of poems as means to both explore and realise a range of emotions surrounding such ideas as truth, infinity and love. The author succeeds in carrying some Sufi traditions in the manner and evocation of the Love poems. The transcendent Beloved is captured in a distinct yet shared tradition as other poets who have embraced these impressions before. Over all, the poems achieve great eloquence and meditative harmony and deserve praise as well as a sincere read.

Summary: Brilliant through and through
Review: I got this book just recently after I read a few of the reviews that others had given it. I haven't read the entire book, but for the past few days I've just browsed through various poems throughout the book and have really enjoyed the ones that I came across. They are very melodic and beautiful; the choice of words and their arrangement flows like a symphony, or rather true to the phrase, reads like poetry. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be taken away on a lyrical journey of grace, imagery and spirituality.
