Review: I received this book as a gift two years ago and my first thought was "lectures and essays... how boring", but I ended up being swept off me feet by this book. It's beautifully written and contains such insight into the human,and female condition that I have bought copies of it for all of the people who are dearest to me. It's a book to refer back to throughout your life, and reread when you lose your way.
