Review: When I discovered that After Hours had been released, I rushed to my favorite book store to peruse it. Not knowing what to expect by African American male authors writing 'love stories', I found myself pleasantly surprised by the clarity in which the writers were able to express their emotions, desires, and vulnerability. I found the works to be thoroughly engrossing. And the eroticism expressed in each work wasn't half bad either! The works give African American women hope that there are African American men out there who view intimacy as more than just 'bumping and grinding'. I give the highest praise possible to Robert Fleming and the writers for giving women a glimpse into the male psyche, which at times can be difficult to comprehend. Congratulations to all on such a compelling work!
