Summary: When You're Looking For a Reason to Love
Review: After I started reading this book I immediately called my husband and told him that we had to look at our marriage of 15 years. I wish I knew how to get in touch with Jean Paul the doctor in this book, the couples reminded me of real people and I know that communicating is a big part of any relationship. Dexter and Ephipany what a story I loved this couple the way they expressed themselves made me cry. I have been looking at this book over and over because each time I see something different, this author can write I am completely surprised at the end of each chapter, it's almost suspenseful. Romance, yes there is plenty and I fell in love again after reading this book, when is the sequel coming out? My other favorite couples Victor and Julia, and Tyrone and Tyra will keep you glued to the pages.

Summary: Un-forgettable!
Review: Boy, do I love this book. Jean Paul is a man right out of my favorite soap opera. Not to take anything away from Dex, Victor, or Christian. But Jean Paul is some kind of fantasy. I love the passion that went into writing this book I could feel the characters come off the pages. If this book isn't getting some heavy reading done by book clubs it should be. I will be writing about 9 1/2 Couples on message boards on the west coast. A magnificent novel, well written and un-forgettable.

Summary: Loving What This Author Writes
Review: Have you ever heard a song and couldn't get it out of your head, well this book is like that. Once I started reading this novel it stayed with me, the characters stories were places in my own life. I just came out of a relationship and it ended on a bad note. perhaps it we had read this book we would still be friends it not together. Victor the man in this book needs to be cloned along with Christian and Dexter. What a joy dating would be if men would pay attention the way these characters did. I loved reading this book and I want to read it again. The amount of books that I want to read more than once I can count on one hand, this book I'll read many times.

Review: I read this book when it first came out, and I missed the characters soooo much that I had to read it again recently. It's a story that keeps on giving, especially when you read it over again. I am looking forward to curling up with a sequel oneday.

Review: It's been a while since I read a book that I could not predict the content. I swore I knew these couples! One of the couples closely resembled my own life situation (reminded me of that Roberta Flack song...Killing me softly). Your book challenged what I held as truth in some of my relationships. What I discovered was a window of clarity that allowed me to see things in a whole new light. What a wonderful book.

Review: Raw, edgy, comtemplative, thought-provoking, reflective, and real. All of the characters in the novel have a flair for telling their story so intently that you immediately feel drawn onto the pages of their lives. A series of stories skillfully woven together to both capitivate and educate the reader. A must read book for anyone interested in real life stories that might be reflective of their own lives. Bravo!

Review: The cover of this novel is what enticed me to buy the book. Victor, Christian, Tyrone are men you want to alone with. i wish this book was a series on tv because everyone would be watching. You should get in touch with the producers of HBO, FX, USA or some cable netowrk and market this book to them. I Love the way you write, when is the sequeal coming out?

Summary: Oprah should reopen her bookclub with this book!
Review: What a story with lots of fireworks, I finished the book during the 4th of July Holiday, and after reading this story I started up fireworks of my own. When I read the title I couldn't believe that there would be all these couples to enjoy. But I did, and I feel in love with Dex, Victor, and Christian. A girl might have a chance if these guys are for real. I hope to see this author on Oprah one day, I would love to see the audience reaction to this outstanding novel.

Summary: Women Have Your Man Read This Book
Review: When I first started reading this book I had to get on line to see if this author had written other books. I could not believe that this was the first novel for this gifted writer. It gets inside of you, from the first chapter to the last. I wonder if the characters are real because I could have been two of them, I hate to admit this because after reading this book I realize that I don't communicate my true feelings. Most of us don't and won't admit it. The doctor who's telling the story I wish he had a practice close by becuase I would make an appointment. I have been doing this relationship thing all wrong, since I began reading this book I'm looking at people differently. This book needs to get recognition. I found out about it through a book club recommends list. 9 1/2 Couples is high on my list of books that I would purchase for people and I would definitely read it again.
