Review: Although this book by no means contains all of the scholarship on Spenser, it is nevertheless the first place I go to for any question I have about the Faerie Queene or any of Spenser's other works. You'll also find information about the time period, politics, and many other writers. This was definitely worth it for a deeper understanding of Spenser for me.
