Summary: What A Sad Read!
Review: In the tradition of its predecessor, Gallant Bride is a tear-jerker to be sure. Poor Malcolm loses Montclair in a card game and dies an alcoholic with his late wife Rose Montrose's name on his lips. He never unites with his son Jonathan, and Blythe is left abandoned, carrying his child. Her only hope is that in the next book she will unite with Rod Cameron--the man she carried a torch for in this book!
