Review: This book is seething with anger and sex but still manages to infuse some lightheartedness within. Definitely a keeper.

Summary: I don't usually like anthologies
Review: You just never seem to get a real taste of the individual contributors to really know what they are about. This is why I avoid anthologies, normally. However, this one is a treasure. It gives you just enough of each poet to let you know how deep and far they can go. I bought the book because of the familiar names (Ginsberg, Blackman, and Erlbaum). I finished reading it with a list of new-found treasures and other writers to be added to my bookshelf. I left the book having felt all the emotions that one soul can have, and then some.
