Rating: Summary: It was OKAY!!! Review: Since this was my first Omar Tyree novel, I didn't have any preconceived expections. The book started with a great premise, delving into the life of a professional groupie, but contrary to what the title suggests, the diary entries weren't that interesting. Although Mr. Tyree seems to have a knack for writing from the female point of view, the dialogue between the characters seems a bit strained. Tabitha is only supposed to be 26, but she thinks and speaks like a 40-year old! I know being a forster child can make one grow up faster, but no 26-year old woman is that philisophical about life and love. Speaking of being a foster child, it would have been nice if we, as the readers, learned more about Tabitha's childhood and her foster sisters. Their characters weren't very developed. Also, it also would have been nice to find out what leads young women to becoming groupies, i.e. lack of strong father-figures or money. All in all, I thought the book was okay.
Rating: Summary: WHAT!!!!!! Review: This book was sooooo slow, I had to make myself finish. I wished that I read the reviews. The good thing was that I got this book through a book club. I started getting lost when the story line jumped. I had to go back to the beginning. In my opinion this book and Flyy Girl 2 are the two not so good books by Omar Tyree.
Rating: Summary: Omar did good this time. Review: This is the type of read that relaxes you and teaches you,add a little suspense and you have an excellent fiction novel. Tabitha was a normal every day girl that many of us would call a "ho" or a prostitute. But she really did have a heart and only in her diaries could one really tap into her mind to see how big her heart was, She loved her foster sisters as if they were blood related. Her sisters on the other hand bashed her "job"but were always calling on her to hold them down when they were in trouble. Obviously this should show the reader that Tabitha AKA Tabby would hold them down no matter what the cost. See but Tabitha had her own issues as well that she never dealt with that I am assuming came from her living in foster care . But like I always say everybody has a story to tell. But can the writer tell the story. I enjoyed this book and I almost didn't read it because of all the bad press that Omar Tyree has received. I am glad I did read it, it was very good.

Rating: Summary: Horrible Review: This peice of trash, I do not wish to call it a book, was horrendous! It was slow, unsuspensful, with stupid (I hate that word but HAVE to use it here), obviously made-up characters which pop up out of no where. The plot was stupid, first of all NO HIGH POWERED man would CARE about someone finding out about a stupid young and un-ambitious wannabee [prostitute] (that is the main character) unless she was indeed a real prostitue or someone of importance. The whole diary plot was just unbeleivably boring and audacious it actually made me CRINGE and want TO CRY with disgust!
Omar, you are one sorry writer, I must say I L.O.V.E.D. Fly girl, but even ITS sequel fell well below the mark for a good read and I guess it was downhill from there
DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT pick this book up! I know you see everyone and their mother reading this (at my job I would walk around and see at least 4-5 people reading this crap, it was the title that got me, it COULD have been interesting), and we are all in agreement that this was the worst 9.99 spent ever in life. I should have known it was bad when it debuted ON SALE!
