Summary: Best of the Series
Review: All of the Glenbrooke books are wonderful (maybe not Sunsets as much as the rest), but Echoes is by far the best, in my opinion. Lauren's character reflects our own, and the romance of words is beautiful. :) Definitely read it.

Summary: another winner from Gunn!
Review: Echoes explores on-line relationships. Lauren, fresh from a broken romance, "meets" KC on line, and they strike up a friendship in cyberspace. Both share a love for everything Victorian, including Robert Browning, Elizabeth Barret Browning, and English Breakfast tea. After a year of corresponding through the magic of the "Web," Lauren finally realizes that she loves KC. Circumstances allow her to finally meet him face to face, but she "chickens out" at the last minute and stands him up. Will Lauren ever meet her true love? And will he actually live up to all that she believes of him? What is God trying to tell Lauren to do with her life? This is a great Christian romance novel, and I recommend it highly.

Summary: A sweet book
Review: I found this little gem in a garage sale and I knew it was a Christian book ~~ and I haven't had much luck finding good Christian romance that doesn't want to make you gag. This is a really fun book ~~ it reminds me of my dating days before I married my husband and our singles' group. With all the other stuff flooding the market these days, it's nice to know there are still good books out there to read.

Lauren breaks off her engagement and her brother gives her a computer, so she meets KC online and they kept writing to one another. A die-hard romantic, Lauren finds herself falling in love with KC's letters. And eventually, they meet and fall in love.

Yes, it is predictable and sweet ~~ but it's just fun to read. Also, anyone who displays knowledge of the great authors like Barrett and Browning, Dickens and so on ~~ has my heart!

This is a great book to read on rainy days. Short and sweet.

Summary: A Beautiful Story Of Discovering Our True Self!
Review: I love this book! I couldn't put it down! I could relate to the main character, because we all have been hurt in a relationship sometime or other. Whether it was a family member or a personal relationship. Our hearts are packed with different hurts and needs. Robin Gunn takes you on a journey of discovering our hearts! I hope you enjoy the story about Lauren and all the other wonderful characters in her book! Thank you Robin! Now I am ready to read Secrets and the rest of The Glenbrooke Series.

Summary: Robin Jones Gunn does Christian Romance beautifully!
Review: I really really enjoyed this book. I am now reading another of hers, Sunsets, which is good also. I will have to keep on reading more of her books as they have really entertained and uplifted me. I read on my break at work and sometimes I laugh out loud because of the funny things she says in her books and I'm sure my coworkers are wondering what I'm reading. lol Anyway, I'd recommend this book! It's interesting how she and the guy met on the internet and corresponded for a year and then eventually met. I really like the christian values in her books!

Summary: I felt manipulated - Did not like it
Review: I've read the books in the Glenbrooke Series and I've decided that I enjoy Echoes the most. It makes me think of the movie I saw with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan called You've Got Mail. The two characters in the story are having a wonderful relationship using email and you hope they'll finally get together in person.

I kind of wondered when I started this book, how it would finally tie into Glenbrooke, since the main character, Lauren, lives in the south. But Robin Jones Gunn brought it all back to Glenbrooke in an interesting way. One of the reasons I enjoyed this series so much is because the books all have nice, likeable Christian characters. When you read about Glenbrooke, you wish you lived in a town like that!

Summary: My favorite RJG book!
Review: In Echoes, Robin Jones Gunn creates characters that really seem to live. After a painful breakup, Lauren meets another believer, known only as K.C., on-line. They begin an intense e-mail relationship, one that others are not likely to understand. How can she be in love with a man she has never even seen? To find out how it ends, you'll have to read it for yourself. After you do, I would recommend that you go back and read the first two books in the Glenbrooke series, which give background information about other characters. And, after you read this, you'll be glad to know that Lauren and K.C. appear in other books later in the series. Enjoy!

Review: This is my favorite of Robin Jones Gunn's Books. I have read all of her Glenbrooke Series except for Wildflowers. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a funny, uplifting, and hopelessly romantic book to enjoy. After I read this book I tried Irish Breakfast Tea for the first time. I was hooked. Everytime I have a cup I think of Lauren and Kenton. Keep up the good work, Robin!

Summary: The best christian romance novel ever!
Review: This is the first book i've read by Robin Jones Gunn. Reading about how the Lord brought two people together through seemingly small mistakes was uplifting. This book prompted me to read other books by R.J.G. I would recommend it to anyone.
