Summary: A Leson Within A Novel
Review: Flip Side of the Game is a great novel with a lesson to be learned. The main character Vera is so wrapped up in her past that she comes ever so close to losing a promising future with a supportive man. We aren't what happens to us, we are how we react to it. Vera's mother was a drug addict who left her to die or be found in the trash. Needless to say she was found, but couldn't leave her past and her family's circumstances in the past. Before I opened this book I expected what Triple Crown Publications is known for i.e. drugs, money, and murder. Flip Side of the Game left me pleasantly surprised.

Review: I have just finished your first novel and my 'hats off to you!' This is the best urban romance that I have read yet. It was on the real tip but it never lost the romance. Taj is definitely the man, this book was so good that after I finished reading it the first time, I re-read it again. I would love to read a sequel, because Vera really does have some major issues.

Summary: Flipping for Flip Side
Review: I read Flip Side of the Game, a couple of months ago and I have been compelled to write my very first review. Flip Side of the Game speaks to those who have witness the effects of drugs and how it affects motherless children, because of the strong pull of drugs. I, along with everyone else cried, laughed and wanted more at the end of the book. While Vera, may think that she has the game locked down, it quickly, comes apart at the seams, when she runs head on into love. I had so much passion for the mother, who was caught up in the allure of drugs, and didn't know how to escape the life she was given. Sometimes the cycle must be broken and Aunt Cookie and Uncle Boy, helps Vera do just that. Her girlfriends had drama all of their own. Taj, was a fine,thugged out doctor, that can only be found between the sheets of Mz. Whitaker's piece of literature. I commend the writer and encourage all young new writers to uplift each other, there's enough room for everyone at the top. This really is a great book, that will speak to the hearts of many. It is a quick, and page turning read. You will not be disappointed. So go ahead and get your read on.

Review: I read this book in one day and I couldn't put it down. I laughed and cried along with the characters. This author does a wonderful job of showing us the affects of drugs on children, adults, and families. We learn to love Rowanda who has not always made the best choices in life. We learn to understand Vera who struggles with forgiving her mother. And we fall head over heals inlove with Taj who is our Black knight. I believe that anyone who reads this book will not be disappointed. It's fantastic!

Review: Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for writing such a great novel. I haven't laughed and cried so much in my life. I got this book for a Christmas gift and what a gift it was. When I closed Flipside of the Game I felt like I was leave family memebers behind. This book commands your attention from beginning to end. Its one of the best street tales that I have read in a long time. It deals with real life issues where anyone of us can see ourselves having to deal with. I wish there were more stars to give because I would give this novel ten!

Review: This was a fantastic book. I laughed, cried, and wanted so bad to marry Taj. I loved the humor in this book and I think that this author should continue to give us novels that make ys laugh and cry at the same time. I would recommend that everyone pick up this book.
