Summary: Not worth the time.
Review: I didn't stop reading this book because I was curious as to how
she was going to bring everything together. To my dismay she didn't. I commend Ms. Foxx on even getting this far,for being published, but please spend alittle more thought into expressing your thoughts. I did not like any of the characters. None were endearing, and were hard to follow. Her conclusion was, well I just put the book down and said, that was horrible.
Too many thing just didn't jive. What was really Che's problem? Did everyone have to be so jealious of Amber? Whydidn't she have any depth to her. Tyler, what was that all about? I can't even go into David, that was just silly. His wife was so unattached and the we have no mention of her in the book.
Better luck next time, this was possibly a good story here, but I feel she wanted to express too many thoughts, and not enough emotions with them.

Summary: Interesting Read
Review: I enjoyed reading this book. It kept my attention for the most part anyway. However I couldn't understand how Amber who was a psychiatrist could have been so ditsy and naive when It came to her own life. I mean she should have pegged Che out along time ago. I mean that girl was scandalous. And then to have her meet a crazed lunatic I mean the signs were all there. But you know how we go, sometimes we choose to ignore those signs and end up paying for it later. They way amber did here. Other than that, i really enjoyed the book. The ending did kind of surprise me, but I'm glad it turned out the way it did. I would recommend this book to all.

Summary: Dippin' My Spoon A Literary Feast
Review: I enjoyed this Book!!! Dippin' My Spoon was hilarious and intriguing. I liked reading about all the complex relationships that Amber found herself involved in. My favorite love/hate relationship was Amber and Che'. Reading about these two made me question Amber's judgement. This type of relationship is much too common in real life. The information that was revealed near the end was very surprising! However;it added to the essence of the novel. It was pleasurable reading this book from cover to cover. I cannot wait to see what Ms. Foxx comes out with next. May God continue to Bless you Ms. Foxx.

Summary: Started off great, ended abruptly!
Review: I finished reading Dippin' My Spoon last night and I thought the book started off well. I could really relate to Amber. But as I got towards the end of the book, the writing style seemed to change. It was as if the author was in a hurry to finish. The fate of the handsome David wasn't developed well enough, and so much more could have been done with the relationship between Amber and her husband, even after their break up. The story didn't develop nearly as well as I thought it would, but again it did get off to a good start.

Summary: It was alright
Review: I finished this book as well another book in the same day, that only tells you 2 things either it's really good or it's very dry. It was very dry I went though it so quickly but in the end it was alright.

Summary: DON'T BUY THIS BOOK!!!
Review: I got this book as one of my 3 free from Black Expressions book club. Never heard of the author before, and the subject seemed interesting. As I was reading this book, I wondered, just what institution gave this lady her degree??!! I thought I must have received a bad copy because no published book could have this many grammatical errors or typos. So I searched online to see what others thought, and true book readers all agree. "This book was simply awful. It was filled with typo's, mispelled words, and the grammatical errors were ridiculous." This was taken from another reviewer, so I'm not alone in my opinions.

First let me say that there WAS a story here. If written by a better author, this could be best-selling material. Something all women can relate to. But Mrs. Foxx doesn't have the skill yet to really tell this story. It was so badly edited that I'm wondering if Norma Martin (editor) even got her diploma, GED no less. I even went as far to find the authors web site ninafoxx.com to send her an email. This story has so many loose ends it's ridiculous. The author has so many ideas that she doesn't know how to put them all together in this story. What happens to Tyler? Why did he come back to town and what did he do when he was there? Who ransacked her apartment? Why wasn't there any character development on Malik? You can't write half a story then sum up a quarter of it in an epilogue. Just look at the last paragraph of the book. "More important than anything, Amber knew her past had made her what she was today. She was quite proud of that fact, and except for the Malik's shooting, she wouldn't change a thing." This is just an example of some of the bad writing/editing and grammatical errors that are in this book that make it a hard read because the words don't flow together. So basically, the last paragraph of this book leaves you with this thought, this lady cannot write.

Summary: An exciting book that kept you turnin' and turnin'
Review: I have to say that i read this book in two days...it was just that interesting...it grabs your attention and the suspense and dreams that amber had made me go back a few pages...because the story itself was hinting at what each and every character was doing, who they really were and what they really wanted out of one another. and david omg i never experience a person with multiple personalities...but it was interesting to read about it and see the effects it has on everyone who were involved with david *S* this book is a great quick read for those who have enquiring minds *S* waiting patiently for ms nina foxx to write another one of her *interesting* books.

Summary: Good Start
Review: I liked this book and think it was a decent effort by a new author. I had a hard time understanding the relationship between the two female characters at first, but on discussion I am convinced this type of relationship does exist. I would have liked to understand Malik a little more, but overall I think this was a good start for this author. I think the test will be whether her writing gets better over time and I am anxious to see how the next book will be. We all have to start somewhere. When will there be a next book? Keep up the good work Ms. Foxx!

Summary: Nice
Review: I liked this book. It shows what you ask for you just might get. The characters are very vivid and all you keep asking yourself is why did she do that?
