Rating: Summary: Get T o The Point!!!!!! Review: This book is not very exciting. The main character, Angelica Chapee has six days to lose her virginity in order to inherit the money that her grandfather has left her since he has recently passed away. The funny thing is that Angelica's grandfather just happens to be rich. This leaves Angelica surprised being that she never knew her grandfather was a millionaire.
This book is extremely boring with no surprises or action at all. It lingers with the fact of Angelica losing her virginity within six days. I don't like how the author stays on the same topic, meanwhile taking forever to get to the point! This makes me not want to continue reading the book. Although I am still reading the book and also hoping there will be some action somewhere throughout it. My opinion is that if you want to read a romance, don't read this one. It will only be a waste of your time!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: What was instilled in you? Do you remember? Review: Ben Chappee was a smart businessman running the local funeral home and raising his granddaughter Angelica. With all the right morals of a christian, and to gain all the respect of people around, and then he suddenly dies, leaving Angelica with a fortune, but it is not rightfully hers unless she carries out his last wishes and she only has 6 days to do it. If she does not carry out his wishes the fortune is lost to her. Angelica is stunned and outraged at what she has to do and she doesn't have a clue on how to go about it. Now Angelica not only has worries of carrying out her pop pops wishes but also she is being watched because someone else wants the fortune. Debra marries the Pastor of Angelicas church and she has ulterior motives, oh my goodness the things people will do for money and misguidance. Debra along with her daughter set out to get what Debra believes to be rightfully hers, and this can bring danger to Angelica. Sweet innocent, I am a good girl has to turn into a hot, sexy, come get me, wam bam thank you brother man, Woman. This book is a quick read, interesting and full of action. Riveting, humorous, fast paced and delightful story. Nina Foxx has done a very good job!!!!!

Rating: Summary: A must summer read for teenagers and young adults Review: GET SOME LOVE was a very tasteful and refreshing book to read about a young girl struggling with the values and morals of her upbringing to obtain some money from her deceased grandfather. Angelica Chappee's grandfather raised her as a child. She adored him and loved his witty sense of humor. The grandfather challenged Anegelica to do something that he had taught her as being morally wrong and against her belief as a Christian. Angelica endured some hard times emotionally and physically trying to fullfill her grandfather's request, and deciding for herself what was right or wrong. I liked the way author dealt with the issue of sex without using bad language and distasteful sexual scenes in the book. This is a book that I would feel comfortable allowing my teenage daughter or son to read.
Rating: Summary: Whatever!!! Review: I am going to have to tell you this straight....no chaser!!! Angelica Chappee's grandfather past away and left her everything that he owned, which included 3 funeral homes. The stipulation for her to get this inheritance was for her to lose her virginity in 6 days. Well needless to say she meets this guy named Juan from the Bronx at like the very end of the book, which took a star away from the book. Angelica never lost her virginity, but got the money anyway because her grandfather said in a viewing of his last will and testament that she followed her heart. Alright that's all well and good, but check this out, me myself I would have been losing that virginity to get that paper and with that I would have been following my heart and I pretty sure you would too. There are some other twist and turns in the book, but I will leave that up to you to find out if you chose to read that book. Later!!!

Rating: Summary: Want Some Love Get Some Love Review: I'm not really sure how much I like this book right now. The story about Angelicas life is pretty boring as of now and sort of forcing. Angelica lost her grandparents the two important people in her life that she has been with for a while. Apparently her loving grandfather was a very wealthy man and had a lot of money. The sick part is in order to get the money they want her to go to a family doctor to prove that she isn't a virgin anymore at the age of twenty one but Angelica is one of the most innocent characters I have ever read about. She also has only six days to prove this. Reading about theses six days is like reading about six years. Its like nothing is going on right now in the book and I am on page approximately 120 and it's really boring.
Rating: Summary: Surprised! Review: In Get Some Love, Foxx starts right off grabbing my attention by tugging on my heartstrings. Angelica is racing home, after she learns of his unexpected death. She is not yet 21 years old, was basically raised by her grandfather, Ben Chappee III, she lovingly calls "Pop-pop." Angelica soon finds there's quite a bit she didn't know about her grandfather; one being he was a millionaire. The next main character and subplot deal with Juan Delgado, a "good Hispanic boy." Juan is in love with music and desires to do anything except what his father expects of him . . . To take over the family dry-cleaning business. Being the good boy that he is, he tries his best to please is father, while trying to find a way to break the news to him. Juan has a cousin named James who loves the family business. James also feels as if Pops, (Big Delgado) Juan's father is his own and would want nothing more than to run the business. Juan knows this and wish that could be the easy answer, but it's not. Therefore, James spends his time working hard in at the dry cleaner (against his mother's wishes) and trying to keep Juan focused on the business at hand. They have a big job to do in Baton Rouge and neither want to let Pops down. Now we have two main characters, both with a conflict of interests (Angelica is unsure about what to do with Pop-Pop's business . . . she dreams of "Dance") . . . will their paths cross? I'm thinking . . . You BET! Angelica's path also crosses with others as well. Money has a way of attracting people, and NOT necessarily people with her best interest in mind. Someone just may be willing to kill to get their hands on Angelica's money. Surprised? I was. Get Some Love was an interesting and easy read. I would definitely recommend this book. It's not your typical romance. Felicia R.E.A.L. Reviewers
