Summary: A Nice Collection
Review: A Nice collection of summer stories.

I enjoyed Maxed Out by Brenda L. Thomas. A teacher turns exotic dancer for the summer. This was a good story.I like how Thomas weaves a tale and I really liked the way she ended it.
4 degrees of heat

Sex, Sin & Brooklyn by Crystal Lacey Winslow takes you to the darker side of a fling. I found it to me more like a street fiction tale. I didn't find it a sexy summer read. I did really enjoy the story and because I did I'm going to check out her books. It just didn't fit in this collection as a sexy summer story. But I rate this story 4 stars as a street fiction tale.
4 degrees of Darkness

Summer Madness by Rochelle Alers was an outstanding sexy summer read.
A shy librarian meets a sexy brother that is mysterious while on vacation in the Hamptons. A sexy, passionate read.
5 degrees of heat

I found ReShonda Tate Billingsley's story Rebound to a summer sizzler.
A jilted bride takes the honey moon anyway and finds some fun in the sun in Belize. This was comical as well as sexy.
5 Degrees of heat.

Summary: GREAT
Review: I just love the book although I wasn't too crazy about Crystal Winslow story to me it was just too childish but the other authors were great . I love Brenda Thomas story kinda left you wondering. Rochelle Alers was great as always and Rehonda Billingsley did an excellent job with her characters Basically the book was great. I won't tell you the storylines but I will say if you pick the book up you won't be disappoined.

Summary: 4 Authors... Only 1 Star... Who Deserves It...
Review: I must say that I was really hyped when I heard that FOUR DEGREES OF HEAT was being released. I've always enjoyed erotica and when I'm in the "mood", a good erotic story always does the trick.

When I saw the book in the store, I immediately noticed one of my favorite authors as the contributer: ROCHELLE ALERS. I said to myself, "Ok... this is a no brainer, no need to read the back. I know this one is a winner." Well, I soon found out just how wrong I had been.

I must say that I enjoyed Rochelle's story. Another review stated that the story unbelieveable. I found the story to be romantic. I really don't think the story was an erotic story. Hence, it did not belong in this book. IT DESERVED ITS OWN BOOK.

I found the story, SEX, SIN & BROOKLYN to be very disturbing. That story was more along the lines of author ZANE. While I agree that the story was very well written and told, the idea that an underage girl (She is 20, NOT 21) is going around having promiscuious sex with grown men (OVER 30) and not being responsible with contraception, disrespecting her mother and stealing from her won friends is very sad and NOT A TURN ON SEXUALLY OR OTHERWISE.

The other stories were enjoyable but not enough to save this book.

I'm afraid the only star that shines in this review, is Rochelle Alers'.

Summary: Very good summer read
Review: I read this story and thoroughly enjoyed this book. My favorite was Crystal Lacey Winslow's story. In my opinion what made this book 4 and a half stars instead of five was Rochelle Alers story. It was typical romance and unbelievable. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in a good read.

Summary: Great Mix
Review: I thoroughly loved this book. The stories were a great mix, and truly four degrees. My favorite would be Reshonda's story because it stimulated my mind. I would love to see more of Victoria and Damon! The other stories were also good. Now I see why these ladies are some of the best in the business!

Summary: No Need For A Blanket
Review: MAXED OUT by Brenda L. Thomas
Maxie's a bored high school teacher who needs some spice in her life. After taking a trip home during the summer break, she gets a little bit more than rest and relaxation. Using her great dance skills, she ventures on the wild side of life and parlays this innocent hobby into a lucrative money maker. The one thing she hadn't thought about: when you play with fire, you usually get burned. Torn between her new life, new love and old boyfriend, Maxie is faced with the challenge of making some hard decisions; is she up for it?

SEX, SIN AND BROOKLYN by Crystal Lacey Winslow
Being gorgeous is usually a ticket to stardom for some; for others, it's a hard way to go. Nicoli uses her looks to get everything she's ever wanted in life. She's always had a close-knit bond with her three friends: Joy, Stacy and Fertashia. They all have one thing in common, the love of money. Using her body has never been an issue, but a sure ticket to getting what she wants. Meeting the famous Black King and having him interested in her was money in the bank, but she never "banked" on karma coming around to step on her like she stepped on others.

SUMMER MADNESS by Rochelle Alers
Always a bridesmaid, finding the man of her dreams was never a priority. Nina Watkins was content to stay in love with the only thing that seemed to give her fulfillment: her books. When she catches the bouquet at her best friend's wedding, everything else falls into place like clockwork.

REBOUND by Reshonda Tate Billingsley
Getting stood up at the altar is never a woman's dream, but the ultimate nightmare. Victoria finds out firsthand when it happens to her. Never one to wallow in sorrow, she ends up taking that expensive honeymoon trip to sun, sand and freedom all alone; running into handsome Damon was just icing on the cake. In a foreign land with a complete stranger who is there to catch his wife in the act of cheating, Victoria and Damon find out that love deals us unfortunate cards, but sometimes you gain the best deck if played right. Who said love doesn't come by chance?

In Four Degrees of Heat, these authors demonstrate their own rendition of its "hot in herre". Nicely packaged in four intimate stories, these are bundled with sizzle, sex, and more sizzle. There's something in this for everyone. Graphic, no holds barred, straight up give it to me and more, all wrapped up in storylines sure to keep you reading. It may definitely be a little too risqué for some, but if you're into erotica, these novellas truly capture the essence of heat, sensuality and romance. Looking for something to keep you up? This is definitely one to start; although if you have a mate, you won't be reading it for long...

Summary: A lil something for all
Review: This recipe will certainly leave you satisfied, with ingredients such as erotica, freaky, ghetto, romantic & far fetched. Brenda Thomas' "Maxed Out" teacher turned stripper was erotic, risque' and insightful. Crystal Lacey Winslow's "Sex, Sin & Brooklyn" was the most scary, wild, ghettofied, freakiest of them all. Rochelle Alers' "Summer Madness" was a very romantic tale with a breath of fresh air that will remind you that your knight in shining armour may still be out there just waiting to rescue you from always being a bridesmaid and never a bride. ReShonda Tate Billingsley's "Rebound" was a lil far fetched for this to be a strong sista, but still made for a good read. Overall the well mixed collaboration includes something to quinch the thirst of all readers.
