Summary: More Than 5 Stars!
Review: I finished this book with a sigh of regret that such a totally absorbing story had to end. It was so real, so vividly and beautifully written. A true gem by a marvelous writer. And what a story. At first I felt the mother's story was intrusive, then I, like the heroine, began to look forward to more about the "book within a book". The tales were beautifully woven together and I was on pins and needles for the whole of the book hoping for the ending that finally resulted. I will read ALL of Ms. Richards' books. This was a wonderful reading experience.

Review: I was looking for a book that would be a page turner and I found it. Fox River was one of the best books I've read. It was a good romance and not mushy. I had never read a book by Emily Richards but now I am looking forward to her next.

Review: This was my first book by Richards, recommended to me by a reading group. I love the way she incorporated the characters into one wonderful story. She made me wish Maisey was my mother, what a interesting life that would be. The ending was a total suprise!

Review: Wow! I have never read an Emilie Richards book before, and I just happened to pick this one up. I was enthralled and finished it in two days (no small feat considering I work full time and I started it on Monday)! Richards's weaving you into the lives of the characters makes you love to hate the bad guys and love to love the good guys! When I finished, I had the same feeling I had with Diana Gabaldon's books (ie: The Outlander series)...let down that the book eneded because I was so involved in the story. A GREAT read!!!
