Summary: The Disappearance by J.F. Freedman
Review: A great suspense novel from beginning to end. I didn't want it to end. I would like to see this made into a movie!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good drama
Review: This was my first Freedman. I read lots of legal thrillers and this was one of the better ones. I found myself guessing along the way. To my delight - and surprise - I was wrong. I hear Against the Wind is his best; I'll be checking that out.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: BOOK OF THE CENTURY!
Review: The disappearance is a thrilling book that anyone who loves mysteries should read. I have read and I own all of John Grisham's books and I must admit that I thought that no one was better than John Grisham. This book is full of secrets, a lot of bone chilling secrets. You don't find out about them til you are at the end of the book. One would think that you will never know who the real killer is but when you find out you will be absolutely shocked and you will shake your head in disbelief. If you plan to read this book you better have a lot of coffee so you be able to stay up all night. You will absolutely love this book if you love to read mysteries.

Summary: Want to be kept awake?
Review: The Dissapearence is a hot, suspenseful thriller that truly satisfys a thirsty reader. It's filled with deviant, seductive, and playful charaters who keep you up through the night... I literally couldn't put this book down. It just keeps better and better. J.F Freedman keeps you on your toes, guessing, and just when you think you know who the culprit is....you will be surprised. This one's a winner!

Summary: A GOOD READ,BUT NOT HIS BEST
Review: After having read AGAINST THE WIND,THE OBSTACLE COURSE,and HOUSE OF SMOKE,this novel does"nt measure up.I did not know the killer until the end,the court case of the accused murderer works well, but over all not my favorite Freedman work.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Not his best book
Review: The Disappearance is an excellent book but seems to lack some of the outrageous characters and action packed situations that some of his earlier books displayed. Still, the main character is larger than life and not very forgettable. Some of the best popular writing I have ever seen.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: "Who done it?"
Review: Freedman is a page-turner! A teenager's mysterious death puts a powerful family in the spotlight and the pressure mounts until the surprising finale..You won't be able to put it down. Enjoy!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great Book!
Review: I love this book. I have less than 100 pages to read and I still can't decide who the killer is. I like this book more than I liked Sandra Brown's "The Witness." I love books that keep me guessing and wondering what is going on. Anyone else who has read both of those books and has some suggestions of what else might be good, please let me know.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Freedman's great!
Review: A great read! My favorite is still "Against the Wind" as it caught me by surprise. I love the author.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This book is AWESOME!
Review: I've never read Freedman before, but after reading "The Disapperance", I am looking for any and every one of his books that I can find to read. Most books boast about how you won't be able to put the book down, but I've never had that experience until this one. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good mystery. I never knew who commited the crime until the last few pages.
