Summary: Good
Review: A good book. Very detailed, although graphic and profane. Hooyah! Dickie is a really strange but effective SpecWarrior. It must have been his hardcoreness that got him booted.

Summary: Doom on you, Dickie!
Review: Arrgh, another formulae bookie, by Dickie. If the author would drop all the finger salutes and the gutter language, which slows down the plot, the stories would read much better. The way that he portrays spec ops folk, makes them all to be pyscho paranoid people. Any language has its own dignity, and the use of its lower class slang has a dimunitive effect on it. Try replacing f--k you with fornicate you. Not as much punch for the semi-literate, I guess. There are plenty of adventure novels that so not resort to constant sexual referrals! If the hero would keep his mouth as clean as his gear, it would be great...

Summary: A great read... Keep 'em comming C***Breath
Review: Both new and avid readers of this next edition in the "Rogue Warrior" series will enjoy the mad marauder's mis-adventures with murder, mayhem and and the mafia -- Moscow style. Designation Gold, a tale all it's own, delivers a fictional yet realistic glimpse into the world of US Special Warfare's battle with Russian organized crime on a personal and international level, Demo Dickie style... And as all armchair warriors who've read Marcinko's earlier books know, it's that Sharkman of the Delta's poetically profane finesse that keeps his enemies (and ours) shouting; "Ya veh pizde!" (You'll learn what that means when you read the book, tadpole). Marcinko, I salute you. You are a true hero and have served the West well in deeds and words. Thanks for both. Keep the books comming, sir (spelled with a respectfully irreverant "C", of coarse).

Summary: good espionage, bad military ops
Review: Demo Dick has the makings of a good plot here, and a slammin' opening situation - Dick helping the Russians? - but, alas, downhill from there. Dick, you write well about spec-ops and the warrior mentality. But enough already with fictions about "every politician is a greedy traitor", and "every soldier or sailor not in spec-ops is a doofus who knoweth not war". And why has the great leader of mench written a plot in which he works almost entirely without the Team? Dick, keep the goons with you at all times - it's a better story than "Well, there I was ... alone and unarmed, when suddenly ...". Alone, Dick spys on Russians, Israelis, French, US Admirals, US Embassies, ad nauseum. Keep writing them, I'll keep reading them, in hopes thou returneth to thy old ways.

Summary: Excellent as usual
Review: Dick brings us another impacting novel as usual. I am a big fan of Dick's work. I am origionally from Dick's hometown which makes him all the more heroic. I look forward to many more stories. May the Legacy of The Rogue Warrior live in all of us.

Summary: Look Out Now!!! Epitome of Machismo at it again!!
Review: Dick Marcinko just may be the most macho,(HCM) that's Hard-Core Military, writer out there. While occasionally a stretch, this book is FUN. Even reading the glossary will have you showing all your friends just how tapped some of our Nation's defenders truely are. Marcinko is nuts, and since he's been there and done that his descriptions add quite a bit of reality.

Summary: Ho Hum
Review: From the absolutely stunning book (Rogue Warrior) to this. What's going on?

Summary: There are 2 kinds of trash my mother always said...
Review: good trash and trashy trash. This is unfortunately the latter. The plot is okay. The dialogue is terrible. And it may be the worst read book on tape I have ever heard. Why authors read their own books instead of hiring a pro is a mystery to me.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: i love all his books
Review: HELP ME OUT HERE-----ANYONE remember the kind of dogs at his Israeli friends' house
