Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great read
Review: This book both entertains and educates as it follows a "possible" scenerio, but brings the reader inside a high tech world of military aircraft. It could only be written by a man that knows.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent - extremely difficult to fault
Review: This book is totally gripping. Whilst reading it it is possible to forget other things (such as, for example, doing the washing up !) I have reread the book twice, becuase even once youve read it you want more. I would recommend it to anyone, with only one gripe - occasionally it becomes predictable - but don't all books? And even though this happens, Dale Brown stuns you suddenly with a totally unexpected twist! Read it!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Not bad at all........
Review: This is Brown's debut novel, and to truly "dig" his others, you should read this one first. It's got an action filled, ambitious plot, even if some of the technology seems a little far-fetched. But who knows? Maybe the USAF has something like the Old Dog EB-52 in Area 51. The story kind of lost a bit of the suspense when the endpaper map clearly shows the Old Dog landing in Alaska at the end of the mission, but still you can truly get into the story after maybe a dozen pages or so. Flight of the Old Dog definetly hooked me onto Dale Brown novels. Bravo to Brown

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A brilliant book that I could just not put down
Review: This was the first Dale Brown book that I have read and it kept me on the edge of my seat all the time. Although it is perhaps a little far fetched, it is still a great book, and for those that are interested in military novels, it is certainly a cracking read. If you like this one, then read the sequel, "Night of the Hawk".

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Outstanding Suspense
Review: Without a doubt, this is one of the best aviation thrillers ever written. It is technically accurate, the characters are human, believeable and funny and the story will keep any reader riveted to the pages. You will not put this book down until you have finished it.

Thought-provoking and suspensful, it does not fall into the predicablility and anti-claimax of many thrillers. Read it today. Ypu will never forget your ride in the belly of the Old Dog!
