Summary: Excellent--if you don't read the end!
Review: Wow. I had lots of good word of mouth suggestions on this one, but what a disappointment. History, betrayal, the cover promises...history, yes, betrayal??! Sounds a bit melodramatic considering the lack of weight and time the 'betrayals' were given. I did very much like the spin on such an intriguing island, but something is wrong when the reader cares more about flowers than the actual characters. The ending--ah! I called it a mile away. Was a major disappointment. Was expecting much more. Mixed feelings overall.
