Review: The Green Berets is back in print with a new chapter about General Hugh Shelton, the first Green Beret to be appointed Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Review: The green berets is prabibly one of the top ten books I have ever read. All of the war stories just captivated my attention long into my reading time. So if you like to read war stories long into the night then this is the book for you. Truly an exelent buy for all war enthusist.

Summary: Not at all me, but I liked it
Review: The subject of this book - the Green Berets or Special Forces in Vietnam - is very much not what I'm usually interested in. So, why did I like this book so much?
1. It was very well-written. Despite a lot of complexity and detail, it never seemed slow-moving to me.
2. Three dimensionality. This was neither a pro-war nor an anti-war book. It told the story of people doing a very hard job in a very hard situation, and trying to do it well, and with dignity. Whatever one felt about the war,what could admire their efforts and their striving for excellence.
Overall, this was an interesting and memorable book.
