Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great book,Greater Reading,Rare Find! Review: I have the entire series except for two books. Over the past number of years I have read " my " CASA adventures many times and you know, each time it seems I find something that I missed before! It's easy to lose oneself in this story. My advice to one is, find a quiet area, have lots of time and be prepared to travel back and enjoy an adventure that only gets better every time you read it!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Casca Review: I own all of the original books and still reread them. Great series and definately worth buying. I'm just sorry the series stopped (yes, I know why). Like the idea of a movie or TV series.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: An Outstanding Series! Review: I picked up an old beat up copy of the first book from my father and read it while I was doing my 2 weeks training with the National Guard. The book got rotated around by everybody at night while pulling duty on radio watch. Needless to say, everyone finished it within a couple of nights and wanted more. I was disappointed to find out that the series was out of print and the author dead, but I looked around for used copies anyway. I was unable to find the series in any used book store, but finally managed to find them online in auctions. (This is what got me started in online autioning.) Anyways, I recommend to anyone looking, that you don't necessarily have to buy the whole set at once, becuase the bids usually got to high in those auctions. Instead, by sets with a number of volumes, and don't worry if you get the same one more than once, you can turn around and sell it on auctions and probably get what you paid. By the way, the newest book by the new author is now out. It is called Casca the Liberator.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: What a story! Review: I purchased Casca: The Eternal Mercenary when it first came out years ago. I now have all 22 books and each one blew me away. Even now after so many years after the last book, I still think about Casca and wonder; if he really was alive, where would he be today and what story would he have to tell? The historical aspects alone are worth the read(s).

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Barry Researched every detail. A Fantastic read! Review: I was Barry's Manager and Record producer in the 70's, and most of all his friend to the very end. Barry was meticulous with everything he wrote. He would spend hundreds of hours on research. When he was through with a book, you just knew it was going to be Great, and this one is Fantastic.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A history-buff's dream come true. Review: If you are going to read one historical novel, this is the one. I have read many good books but this one was a masterpiece. The story draws you in so quickly that you soon forget about everything else. I failed an exam because of it and have never regreted it.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A great adventure that can be read over and over. Review: If you're a history buff, an action adventure fan or just a person who enjoys a good read, this is the book for you. I bought all 22 books in this wonderful series as they were published and have reread them many times over the years. Whenever a friend asks to borrow something to read my first recommendation is always "Casca".
