Rating: Summary: A WONDERFUL BOOK! Review: A ROLLICKING, TEETH RATTLING BOOK OF SUSPENSE! Jackie is a sistah girl who loves loves loves Victor. Bruthaman wants no part of her. But Jackie keeps trying. Then her boss is murdered and a gorgeous Johnnie Cochran like brutha steps in to keep Jackie from going to jail for the crime. Add a right wing black conservative reporter who wants Jackie to hang, a man named Paul who genuinely adores her and a gay guy in the closet who worships Victor to the mix and you have one hell of a good book. Brava!
Rating: Summary: TheWomanHasTalent Review: Anita Diggs' second novel is not just a good story, it's fun to read. She has managed to give readers an inside look at the misty realities of the publishing world without getting them bogged down in the details. She writes with passion, insight, and wit. The character Paul is a likeable kind of guy even if he is a sucker. But rather than being a criticism of the writer it's further proof of her skill in creating a character who was easy to like and feel for. Keep up the good work.
Rating: Summary: All I can say is ¿oh my¿ Review: Anita Diggs, Meeting In The Ladies Room was the best read I've had in a long time. Jacqueline Blue's brush with the law had me in stitches. Yes, I know it was a serious situation, however, Ms. Diggs satirical use of dialog and language kept me chuckling throughout the entire book. The main character's obsession for Victor was enough to carry the book, so yes; adding in all the rest made it "the read of the year" for me. I can tell Ms. Diggs had fun writing this book and it showed. I look forward to her next fictional effort.

Rating: Summary: Had Me At The Title! Review: For those of us born before 1980, "Meeting In The Ladies Room" as a title brings memories of the song made famous by the all female group Klymaxx. Although one has nothing to do with the other, I liked this book just as much as I like that song. I won't go over the synopsis anymore but just know that this book's flow is as smooth as a river. The character of Jackie Blue was well developed. She was an intelligent black woman in the cutthroat business of book publishing, yet she still had faults when it came to men. I liked that she had flaws as well as a good group of people in her network. The twist with an unethical reporter seemed to take care of itself a little too neatly but overall this was a great read. Would highly recommend.

Rating: Summary: Great Read Review: I read this book in a day. I really enjoyed it. A definite must read. Although I am a little confused at to what the title has to do with the book...
Rating: Summary: Mothers Review: I really enjoyed this book but I felt real sorry for Jackie at the end. She got the money but she had lost her mother's respect. I got the feeling that her mama was always going to see Jackie as trash from now on.

Rating: Summary: Very Good Review: I truely enjoyed this book. This was my first by this author and her writing was smooth and easy to follow. My only problem was Jackie's choice in a mate. I felt that she was with that man (you have to read to find out who) because she felt like she owned him something.
