Summary: Tully in me....
Review: I loved the book. It was the first book I read of hers and I am hooked. Tully has great emotion. No matter if you have had a life like hers or not- you bond with the story. It is definitely one to pick up... be aware you won't want to put it down. Tully is a strong character that has seen it all from love to death.

Summary: Best book I ever read!
Review: Working in a library branch, I see many books come across the desk. After picking this book up, I could not put it down. I became involved in Tully's life. I felt as if I could take joy in her ups and sadness in her downs. I became apart of her life. I felt as if the book added to my life and how I view things in the world around us. I could see things through Tully's eyes,...things I could never see before. I thank Paullina Simons for sharing her work with the world! I felt as if I gained insight to life through Tully that gave me growth. Two thumbs up! :)

Summary: Well orchestrated suspense, can you stand the pain?....
Review: Simons is a master of suspense created through the small everyday events and happenings of people's lives. Revolving around a woman who is so badly damaged within her own identity that change is impossible the story very quickly becomes almost too painful to read further, and yet the suspense grips so strongly that you know you will contiue. In the end, I think it is a little too much and drags on for longer than necessary. The tragedy took my breath away but Simons does not know when to stop. Tully evoked pain and tears, laughter and relief and is certainly a book that will always be remembered.

Summary: Call me Tully
Review: I never experienced all that Tully experienced. But I've felt all that Tully felt. Her disassociation with everyone. Her ignoring her own feelings. Her inability to believe in her own tomorrow. Her disbelief in herself. I am living that too, Tully. Natalie Makker, you deserve the best. I hope you find it. I hope I do too. Someday.

Summary: Tully moved me to tears and laughs it is the best book!
Review: Tully, what can you not say about this book? My mom gave me this book and at first I was intimadated, it looked so long. The truth is I read it in two weeks. I would come home and all day I would be thinking about Tully. Now, after all of my friends have read it, we are always comparing our lives to Tully. Usually I start to read books then halway through I lose interest, bu Pauloina Simmons kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.(Now I can no longer say that a book I read is the best because I will always compare it to "Tully") I never knew what was going to happen. Paulina I applaud you for writing one of the best books that I have, and will ever, read! Tully is no longer a character, she is my friend.

Summary: Deep, very deep one of the best books I've ever read.
Review: This book really is amazing. I loved every part of it. It wasn't predictable or average. It was so deep and really a book you won't forget.

Summary: This book's characters and themes may stay with you forever!
Review: I read this book over two years ago and will NOT lend it to anyone! I am so afraid it will disappear. I even read it on the bleachers at my son's Little League games because I just couldn't put it down and the coach commented, "That must be one great book!" because he knew how much I love baseball with the kids! READ THIS BOOK and own a copy. I have just this week recommended it to my almost 16-year-old. I KNOW she will love it, too.

Summary: Never before has a character been so real as Tully
Review: Tully killed a holiday for me. I became obsessed and managed to finish the book in 4 days. Thank you, Wow I never thought a character in a book could take over my life. Next time I go to Rome I'll remember to leave a book behind.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I felt like Tully was a version of myself.
Review: Never in my life have i ever been so touched and moved by a book. I cried for days and days after finishing it. I guess it seemed like i was actually closing a chapter on my own life, and hoping Tully got on with hers. Tully didnt just become a "character" to me, nor my best friend. Tully was me. The abuse, the not being able to love the one person who could love her back, because she felt she didnt deserve it. The abandonment, all of it.... me. Tully, I have read it probably 7 times, and i cry each and every time. The cover is worn, and the corners are bended, there are even tear stains on a few pages. Will i read it again despite its imperfections?? You bet.. will i cry even though i know how it will end?? You bet... Will i ever forget about Tully?? Never, it would mean forgetting about me.

Summary: utterly compelling
Review: This is a story that is impossible to put down. I read it in a day soaking in the bath tub, the words on the page were a total blur through my tears. Tully had a s**t upbringing and experienced things nobody would wish to experience. As a consequence she was selfish and depressing. She managed to adversely affect almost everybody she came in contact with. However, she was incredibly likeable and this book is totally absorbing. It has everything you could ever hope for in a novel - love, romance, sex, tradgedy, friendship, child birth, Mexican food... it makes you laugh and cry. Paullina Simons is an absolute genius!!!
