Summary: I can't get Tully out of my mind
Review: It's been about six months since I read Tully and the characters have been with me ever since. I saw so much of myself in so many of them, particularly Tully, although at times I wanted to shake her; but I guess that's what made her so real.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the best books I ever read!
Review: I loved every line of this book! I loaned it to a friend and never recieved it back however I plan to purchase again!!

Summary: Excellent! Why do you never hear about this book?
Review: I read this book after first reading "Red Leaves," which I liked, but not nearly as much as this one. Tully was an amazingly realistic character, despite the sometimes melodramatic situations she finds herself in. I think there's a lot of her, and her ambivalence towards life and, especially, love, in a lot of us. I really related to her "is that all there is" feeling with Robin, her infatuation with Jack and her final choice between them. I never quite understood what was so appealing about Jack, but I guess that's a little like life, too. Can't always understand someone else's great infatuation. Some of the Jack scenes reminded me a little too much of "The Bridges of Madison County," which was too sappy for me, but that's a minor complaint of what is overall a terrific book. I didn't do anything but read it for two whole days, and I slowed down at the end because I didn't want it to be over. I read all the time and that almost never happens. Hope to see more by Paullina Simons soon.

Summary: Fantastic!
Review: Picked up this book about two years ago while browsing a library. Never wanted it to end, the characters were so magnetic. Would recommend it to anyone who enjoys "human interest" stories or, for that matter, anyone who breathes

Summary: Meet Tully
Review: I read Tully three years ago, and the characters have stayed with me. It's not because of the subject matter; there are more than enough abusive childhood-haunts-adulthood books on the market. I even have a personal policy of avoiding incest/abuse fiction...it's overdone.

But Tully is different because it is real and powerful. It shows how people can be haunted by what happens to them, and also how they can bury the past. It shows how people can love more than one person at once. It shows how friends can become family.

I hid my copy of Tully toward the end because I didn't want to finish it; I didn't want it to be over. I wanted to stay with Tully.

Summary: enjoyable
Review: Has no one else read this book? I thought it was very good. Simons was strong on the drama, hence there was one comparison to soap opera, but nonetheless it has been my experience that sometimes that's just how life is. At times I really liked Tully, at times I strongly disliked her, but I was always impressed with how she was very, very human. And I was thrilled with the choice she made in the end. Simons had no trouble at all coaxing me to keep those pages turning, and in summary, I thought this was a very enjoyable read

Summary: Simply could not absorb the pages fast enough
Review: I was really surprised by this book - initially I was sceptical having not heard anything about it before picking it up. Put plainly this book is haunting me... I have just finished Red Leaves which I also could not put down... but I'm afraid Jack, Robin and Tully still have me mesmerised. Is there any talk of a sequel? Does anyone know what the author is working on now?

Summary: If you read only one book this year, this is the one!!!
Review: Tully is a book that surprised me from page one. It was amazing how engrossed I became in the life of Tully and her friends. The beuaty of the book is that most people can relate to at least one of the characters. The characters were faced with numerous difficult decisions, and the reader feels just as involved as any of the characters. The discussions I've had with my friends about this is amazing! READ IT AND I GUARANTEE YOU'LL LEND IT TO ALL YOUR GIRLFRIENDS (I have lent it to 7)

Summary: Tully could be any woman's best friend growing up in the 70s
Review: Tully was a heart-wrenching story for anyone who grew up in the 70s. Tully was someone you love but didn't always understand. She is an example of doing the best you can with what you've been handed even if it isn't always right. I laughed and cried over Tully's triumphs and heartaches. I recommend this book to women who come in the bookstore where I work all the time

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I thought it was a great book from start to finish and it showed insight in to Tully's life.
Review: It was a page turner and it winds you through the story of an abused teenager to an unconventional adult. It gives you a real glimse in the life of a person.. and her way of making through the difficulties of her life
