Summary: Great Read for an Expectant Mother
Review: I read this on my vacation (while six months pregnant). It was hilarious and a very quick read (finished in one day). If you're pregnant (or have been)-- you'll definitely be able to relate-- if your not, you'll still find it laugh out loud funny.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great for a mom-to-be or a one-day-will-be
Review: I thought this book was great. It has been a long time since a book has made me laugh and this one made me laugh alot! I am not expecting, but I could still relate to her trials.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Funny
Review: If you are looking for a funny and enjoyable book, this is a good catch.

Summary: Ehh.
Review: If you're in the mood for a quick piece of fluff, a good bubble-bath book, then this is it for you. But this book is in no way a quality piece of fiction. I feel like it panders to the lowest common denominator, and that's pretty offensive. I'm hoping and praying that the main character is not representative of the average mom-to-be, else our next generation is doomed!

Summary: Amy Thomas-Stewart Becomes a Mommy!
Review: In the second installment of the life of Amy Thomas, she has decided she wants to become a mother. However, she lost her job, her husband's company is on the verge of being bankrupt and everything else in her life is going haywire.
Amy decides she wants a baby and will make a list that will coordinate how everything needs to go. From the 'Crotch Whisperer' to a triangular crib, things don't go exactly as planned. And, once again, her suddenly Jewish grandmother is trying to steal the spotlight gets mad when it severely backfires.
This book is one that is relatable for anyone who's been pregnant, knows someone who's been pregnant or is trying to become pregnant. It's funny, understandable, and I can completely sympathize with everything going on.

Summary: Now want Diary of a Mother!
Review: Laura Wolf does it again! She brings humor to situations that can be otherwise chaotic and somewhat frightening! When I was engaged, I read Diary of a Mad Bride and it helped me to laugh...I really felt like Amy Thomas (Stewart). Now, my husband and I are embarking on the path to pregnancy, and all the books we have been reading make it somewhat frightening, while Laura's makes it humorous too. Like a good friend, you feel as though she is going through the experience with you. What is a layette, anyway??? More Laura, please!!!! And thanks for the laughs!

Summary: I was in tears laughing!
Review: Laura Wolf is my favorite author. There are only two books that have ever had me litterally laughing out loud with tears in my eyes: Diary of a Mad Bride, and now Diary of a Mad Mom-to-be.

Diary of a Mad Mom-to-be takes Amy (now Stewart) through her next phase in life after marriage: motherhood.

The book takes the emotions, physical changes, fears, and hopes of a pregnant woman and presents them all in a light-hearted way that any woman, a mom or not, can relate to.

If Laura Wolf writes another book, I'll be the first one to buy it. She's got a wonderful sense of humor that's conveyed in such a practical, matter-of-fact way, guaranteed to make you laugh.

Summary: I laughed so hard I had contractions.
Review: Love it -- another great yarn about Amy, the fiancee character from Wolf's first novel, and a sort of funny & sly how-to (and how not-to) of pregnancy and childbirth. Definitely better than the other preggo novels out there. Get this one.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very funny and quick read!
Review: Loved this book, read it in a day. It was funnier than Diary of a Mad Bride which I read when I was engaged. That one was really cute so I wanted to read this one now that I'm married and babies are on my mind. VERY enjoyable!! I laughed out loud a number of times as she goes through her 9/10 months of pregnancy. She keeps a list of "What no one tells you about pregnancy" that cracks me up as she stumbles upon these things the hard way! You'll love it, too!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A must read for pregnant obsessed women! Like Me!
Review: Most women who have been pregnant (and obsessed over it) can relate to this book. If you are tired of reading the boring educational pregnancy material, but still are obsessed with pregnancy and everything baby, this is a great lighthearted, funny book that will take your mind off of your pregnancy (at least for a little while).
