Review: I laughed so hard reading this book that I bought copies for all my girlfriends who have ever been or are even thinking about getting pregnant! It's sweet, touching and most of all hysterical!!! This book makes a great gift! I loved it!

Summary: Right on the Money!
Review: I like this book because it was entertaining, funny and in some cases voiced thoughts that I have had while pregnant. My first pregnancy was great and I had many of the same fears that Amy had and then some. Amy had issues that every woman deals whether pregnant or not. Every woman thinks her husband is weird at some point in their marriage or that their grandmother may already be on the other side of the rocker already or that her best friend won't be because she is pregnant. I could really relate and I even got a chance to laugh while doing it. Good job and the best part, is that all of the pains and worries are well worth it once you see that little face looking right back at you.

Summary: A hilarious look at pregnancy
Review: I love this book! From the first page to the last ~~ I couldn't put this book down for one minute! Laura writes of a humorous look at pregnancy and describes everything from morning sickness to the joy a mom feels holding her baby for the first time. And the list of things to do ~~ I did the same thing during my pregnancy and all the irrational fears and worries that Amy suffered ~~ I did too. It was great!Amy Thomas Stewart decides one day to get pregnant and she wants it NOW! From a hilarious story of the conception to the end ~~ Amy keeps you running along with her, through the ups and downs of being pregnant. I had to laugh at her question what a layette is or what a wipes warmer is ~~ those are the same things my husband and I have wondered too! If you've been pregnant before or are pregnant, this book will be a guarantee to make you laugh out loud! =0) Laura writes of Amy's concerns with a practical and hilarious take ~~ and it's great! I am now looking forward to reading the first book in the series. Laura Wolf is defintely an author I will be keeping my eye out for! 12-02-03

Summary: Great beach read
Review: I loved Diary of a Mad Bride To Be, and this book is just as funny. As the Mom to 2 kids and currently trying for #3, I could really relate. I was laughing out loud. This was a great quick read in what little spare time I had on vacation.

Summary: Another GREAT one!
Review: I loved Diary of a Mad Bride....this was another great one from Laura Wolf. It's light and a real quick read. I like how the author tells it like it is, makes the reader feel as if they are not the only ones going through these situations. I hope she continues with these Diaries!!!

Review: I loved this book (as well as her other book, "Diary of a Mad Bride to be"). I only wish that Amy (the main character) was an actual person so we could hang out!!!
Her account of being pregnant was very real...and hysterically funny. Can't wait for one of my friends to get pregnant so I give this book to them!!

Summary: Stress reliever!!
Review: I loved this book!! It is so great to read something like this when you are pregnant! I loved her lists and it's almost reassuring to know that you are not going crazy and even though it's fiction, it relates to real life.
I definately would recommend this book to anyone who has had, will have or is thinking about having a baby. :) READ IT NOW, BECAUSE YOU WON'T HAVE TIME FOR THE NEXT 20 YEARS TO READ ANYTHING!! :)

Summary: I loved this book!
Review: I read 'Diary of a Mad Bride,' and 'Diary of a Mad Mom To Be,' in a couple of days, and thought they were both exellent books. I loved the main character, Amy, because she was such a funny person. In the first book, Amy completely renounces marriage, saying she will never get married, but then her boyfriend Stephen proposes, and she turns into her worst nightmare, 'A Mad Bride.'This happens again in 'Mad Mom To Be,' with Amy saying she will never have children, but then suddenly feeling the need for a child. I really liked reading about her pregnancy, and her list of 'thing they don't tell you about being pregnant' was hilarious. Also, her lists of 'things to do' which appear in both books are great, giving you an idea of how much preparation goes into weddings and babies, even if some of the items on the list are slightly unnessecary.
All in all, they were great books, and I hope Laura Wolf writes more. If you like these books, i'd like to reccommend books by Sophie Kinsella, who has a similar style to Laura Wolf.

Review: I read this book when I had already tired myself of the advice-filled healthy pregnancy books and guides. This book felt really practical and filled me with laughs at the same time. I could identify with the heroine and that usually made me feel better about my situation. If you are pregnant, read this!!!

Summary: Read this when you're pregnant!
Review: I read this book when I was 4 months pregnant and feeling like I had no one around me who understood what I was going through. I flew through the book in 2 days and took great comfort in Amy's pregnant craziness - she made me feel normal and not so alone. Not epic literature, just a fun and fast read that any pregant woman will totally "get". I only wish it lasted longer!!!
