Summary: give me a break
Review: If I had to read Aw'ight one more time in this book I was going to throw it. It was hard to read because of all of the slang, or should I say iritating. Tracy was stupid and fast. I was confused with Raheema and her situation. Didn't these kids ever have supervision. Going to party's late. Tracy's mother seemed to have a little sense, but she is going to allow her child to receive gifts, expensive at that, from boys who had no jobs. Whatever!!!!!! I was truly disappointed.

Summary: Best damn book I ever read!!!
Review: Omar Tyree is a genius the way he puts in a whole lot of kinky sex and more sex and drugs and sex!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Page-Turner..Would recommend to any teenage girl
Review: I believe that this was a very good book. I am a 14 year old multiracial female and I feel that this book is very good. Some people say that it says bad things about African-American teenagers but there are very many teenagers in general who do the same things that Tracy and Victor and Carmen and Cash did. I would recommend this to any teenager who is starting to steer in the wrong direction. Maybe this book could help wake them up.

Summary: It's about how teenagers get trapped in a misunderstood life
Review: I really loved this book, especially being that I am an African American teenager, with middle class family. I saw one of my friends with the book and kind of shrugged it off, then I saw another friend with the book and she read pieces of it to me, then I knew that I had to run and get the book. This book was surprising in the beginning, but I could really relate to the book to a certain extent I know how Tracy feels about the boy that she really likes. I really didn't expect that out of this book, but I am glad that someone was daring enough to write this and I thank Mr.Tyree for relating to the young teenage point of view especially the females. You go boy! Thanks a lot!

Summary: I LOVED it!!!!!!!!
Review: I loved this book. I dedicate this book to all the homegirls all over the world if you can take the cursing, sex and violence. It's good to read and you can sometimes relate your style to the characters. It brings you into their world and get you hooked. I'm planning to read the next book by Omar Tyree 'A do right man.' I read comments and plenty people have gotten disappoinment but you should read it for yourself and found out what you think about it. Otherwise, this book was the BOMB!!!!

Summary: I think this book took teens to another level.
Review: This book has a lot of vulgar language and sexual acts but I think it is good for teens so they can see the mistakes this girl Tracy made and stop themselves before they make the same mistakes. One thing I liked about this book was that there is at least one character in this book that reminds you of someone you know!

Summary: This book was very real!
Review: I am a teenager, and the African Sisters Inc. (ASI) club at my school wanted us to read this book. It starts off very slow, and I couldn't relate to it. But, as it entered Tracy's teen years, I began ubderstanding her problems. Now, Tracy made some wrong turns, but it was very real. Everyone knows of someone who makes some wrong decisions, but with the encouragement of others they made it through. Omar Tyree did an absolutely great job with writing this novel.

Summary: I love it!
Review: Flyy Girl is a book that I can just read over and over again. I got it form the library and read it. Then I gave it to a friend and she read it in one night. We talked about how Tracy reminded us of my friend and how Victor was like the guy she was in love with. this year I bought the book and I've read it twice. I can't wait to read tyree's others!

Summary: DISAPPOINTING
Review: I sincerely regret that I ever paid full price for this book. The plot was preachy and predictable, the characters were one-dimensional and insipid, and the prose lacked any modicum of creative development. This should have been a book on slang terminology since Mr. Tyree felt the need to define the words for us. I hope Omar will develop his own style of unique writing as his voice gets stronger, but based on Flyy Girl, I would never buy another book he pens.

Summary: I thought FLYY GIRL was an excellent book!!
Review: Flyy Girl was and excellent book on a young girl finally growing up into a beautiful woman. Tyree took us from her teen years up until she was ready to enter college. This book was full of details and kept me very interested!

I couldn't put the book down. I love they way he gave very explicit descriptions on her day to day life this book was so real I could truley relate because I use to be this FLYY GIRL!!
