Review: Starts out great for a fast intriguing read. Reads like a movie though. Loses some steam half way through.
Unbelievable that the book is Bobby's journal and he writes the entire book (as a journal) in basically a few days time. Right.
He's saving a world, having an awesome adventure. Would he really have time to write this book in a weeks time?

Summary: Pendragon the epic adventure
Review: Pendragon, this is the name of the new series that has just hit bookstores. It is a very adventurous tale of a normal sports loving boy who is leading a somewhat normal life until his Uncle comes to his house one day acting very strange. His uncle walks in on him and his new-found girlfriend makeing out and asksher to leave and his nephew to come along with him to an abandoned subway that starts his journey through what we would call another dimension.
This thrilling book starts out fast and gets better the whole way through it. This book truly keeps you at the edge of your seet. The writers masterful way of describing everything around young pendragon that it really takes you right along side him into a world of flumes and giant headed bears called quigs.
Would I suggest this book to a friend? Yes I would and therefore I suggest it to you.

Review: i highly recomend getting this book..., i just love thisa book... i usualy don't like reading too many books, but this is one i can't put down... in my opinion this book is even more enjoyable than harry potter!!! jus but it, or at least check it out at your library. i can't wait for the rest in the series...

Review: I am a 13 year old boy that hates reading, my teacher made us read a book for a report... i jus picked one out of the bookfair and said ok, lets do dis... this book is one of the very few books that i can't put down, i'm the kind of person that if a book is borring or not interesting, i just can't read it... all i am saying is just give it a try, check it out or sumting, ... n i know you'll love it... i'm jus waiting for the rest comming in this new series... i'll jus put it like diz, if u liked harry, or lotr,you gotta get it

Review: Pendragon The Merchant of Death is a MUST read for fantasy lovers. Even if you don't like fantasy you'll love this book. It is nonstop action and excitement so good that i couldn't put it down! Literally. It is seeming like forever while I'm waiting for the next book and I'm sure you will too if you read this. Must READ!!

For those fans new and old who are looking for something more contemporary than, say, His Dark Materials or Lord of the Rings, check out Bobby Pendragon. He's 14. Lives a bit north of New York City. Plays a pretty mean game of basketball. Loves video games. Family, house, dog. Life is good. And then his ultra-cool Uncle Press shows up at his front door one evening, and whisks Bobby away to another dimension, one of ten Territories known as Denduron. And life, as he has always known it, ceases to exist.
Bobby's uncle tells him that he has been chosen to be a Traveler, and his job, should he decide to accept it, is to help his uncle save the Territories from a villain among villains, the evil Saint Dane (who can shape shift and raise all sorts of hell). In this first heart-stopping installment, Saint Dane pits two co-existing societies against each other. If either is destroyed, it'll be easy for him to come to power. Review: I liked Pendragon becaue he can travel through Flumes, has a fun uncle, could go to different times, gets into bad situations is scary, is fun. I think that if you like adventure stories like The Hobbit or The Lord of the Rings then you will like this book too.

Review: This book focuses on Bobby Pendragon, a 14 year-old at Stoney Brook High. Bobby is a nice, smart and overall pretty cool guy. However, he is suddenly whisked off to a planet (or territory) called Denduron. There he and his uncle have to stop a civil war that was created by the evil Saint Dane.

This book is a nonstop thriller and a great way to start off an epic series.

Review: Until very recently, I swore that I would never read series YA books, but here I am reading one after another.

Pendragon Merchant of Death is an excellent read. From the very beginning it is easy to find interest in young Bobby describing his cool uncle interrupting Bobby's first kiss.

That is where the normalcy in Bobby Pendragon's life ends. From there MacHale does an excellent job of keeping the plot fresh, interesting and eventful.

This book is right up there with Garth Nix's Mister Monday and it is as interesting a start to a series as Darren Shan's Cirque Du Freak. If this series lives up to Cirque Du Freak's 4 trilogy masterpiece, then I am hooked right now.

Review: I am a huge Harry Potter fan and I think this book is almost as good!!! This is one of the best series I've ever read and this book was awesome.Any Harry Potter or Lemony Snicket fan should give it a chance.
