Rating: Summary: WOW! PENDRAGON IS AWESOME! READ IT NOW!!!! Review: Bobby Pendragon...a fourteen year-old boy with a normal life untill his uncle takes him away to a territory called Denduron. Press tells him he is a "traveler" and he must save Denduron from a terrible fate. But why him? He's fourteen. He doesn't even live on Denduron. Why should he help? If you would like to know, read the book! I would strongly recommend it. The action almost never stops, and Bobby is almost always in a life-threatening position. If you want to be in another state of mind and read through a book in one day, this book is for you. I give it a perfect five stars. I usually believe that a five star book is impossible, because no book can be perfect. This book isn't, but a measly four stars isn't enough! READ IT!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Not The Ordinary Boy Review: Bobby Pendragon is a fourteen-year-old boy, and his mission is to save the world. Bobby was a normal kid, until his uncle came to him, asking desperately for help. Bobby soon learns that he is a traveler, a person that can travel through space and time. After traveling to a distant planet, known as Denduron, with his uncle, Bobby has to try to save the planet from an evil traveler. If the evil traveler, St. Dane, is able to cause war between two tribes on the planet Denduron, the whole universe will be destroyed, including Earth, as we know it. It's up to Bobby and some other "good" travelers to stop him and the two tribes from clashing. Does Bobby fulfill his mission and save the whole universe's destruction? Pendragon: The Merchant of Death, by D.J. MacHale, is one of the greatest stories ever written and I am sure the sequels will be just as good. This book is filled with action and adventure throughout the whole story. Not once was there a boring part of this amazing tale. The book is very similar to Harry Potter books, but maybe a little bit better. I recommend this book for all readers who enjoy adventurous stories. Pendragon: The Merchant of Death is one of the greatest books I have ever read!
Rating: Summary: Amazing Start to An Exciting New Series Review: Fourteen-year-old Bobby Pendragon has always thought that he had a normal life. He has a great family, great friends, was lucky enought to have kissed the most perfect girl, has a perfect dog, Marley, and has a super-cool Uncle. But there's something that Bobby never knew about himself, and is about to find out. He's destined to save the world. No, not in ten years from now, but at this very instant. And no, not on this Earth, because life on this Earth is different than Bobby ever thought it could be. Bobby will be saving the world on an alternate dimension called Denduron, a territory inhabited by many strange beings, that is plagued by a dangerous revolution, and ruled by a magical tyrant. Now Bobby is forced to accept his role as savior to the people of Denduron, or else he won't ever see his family again. Besides, Denduron is only the beginning.D.J. MacHale is a fantastic author who has created an interesting, and out-of-this-world dimension that will pull readers in from the very first page. Bobby is a fun character, who, even though he has to save the world, and is in an alternate dimension, uses teenage lingo of today (i.e. cool, awesome, etc.), that readers will be able to relate to and understand quite well. PENDRAGON: THE MERCHANT OF DEATH is told in alternating chapters between Bobby's journals, and his friends (Mark and Courtney) quest to find Bobby and save him from untimely death, which gives the reader the chance to read both sides of the story. This is an interesting and exciting addition to the science fiction / fantasy genre. A must read. Erika Sorocco
Rating: Summary: Good Review by a Cynical Critic Review: I have to admit that I am a notorious critic... Though I can sometimes be harsh, I have to say that this book is fantastic. It is tied for my favorite series with a couple other series such as the Redwall series by Brian Jacques and the His Dark Materials Trilogy by Philip Pullman. Now, about the book. Bobby Pendragon is a popular 14-year-old jock at his high school, until right before the county semi-finals for basketball, his Uncle Press tells Bobby that a group of people require his help. This is the start of a wild adventure with doors with stars that open flumes, quigs, an angry girl named Loor, Travelers, and tak. Be sure not to miss this incredible series by D. J. MacHale. P.S. For those that have read it, isn't it amazing the amount of times that Bobby can call himself a weenie in just one book? ^_^
Rating: Summary: As good as Harry Potter Review: I picked up this book at Hudsons just to test the series. I ended up staying awake until midnight for several nights to finish this book. It is my FAVORITE book and I quickly finished the series. I have recomende this book to several of my friends and they have loved it as well. This book is truly as good as the Harry Potter series!!!

Rating: Summary: Traveling the Universe via Flume Review: D.J. MacHale has a wonderful talent for making the reader feel like that they are with Bobby fighting Saint Dane. The characters and scenery painted via the words create a fun atmosphere. The readers can relate to most characters in the book. I nearly cried several times throughout the book because of the empathy created by the author for his characters. It is a definite must read!

It starts of with Bobby Pendragon, kissing a girl called Cortney, who showed up out of nowhere and told booby she had feelings for him. This was cool for Bobby considering the fact that Cortney was the best looking girl in Bobby's school. However while Bobby is kissin Cortney he takes the chance of opening his eyes to see his Uncle, Press standing about three feet away from him. After the embarrising encounter from Uncle Press, Bobby get's sent to a mythical place called, "Denduron", where there are huge monsters called, "QUIGS". Rating: Summary: PenDragon: The Merchant of Death Review: This book is really good! I'm a teen and it's hard for me to find books that keep my intrest. I found this book in my school libary browsing around. The title looked good so I picked it up and read the back and instintly it sounded like a good book.
Rating: Summary: It was good, but not great. Review: When I first started this book it wasn't because I wanted to but because my friend told me to read it and being the curious person that I am, I started it. I was kind of boring in the beginning so I skiped a couple of chapters and then it got interesting. Now I'm on the last of the series (for now) and I can't put it down. My favorite part of the book was when Osa died. It was so sad because Loor was now all alone except for Bobby. I really like Bobby because he seems like a perfect friend and has a really big responsibility and can keep it cool yet be horribally afraid at the same time.
