The Masks of Macbeth

Summary: Excellent resource for productions and interpretations
Review: This is an excellent work for any director who is working on an active production of Macbeth (the Masks of Hamlet is also excellent). It contains everything from previous theatrical and film interpretations, interviews, and reflections to in depth analyses of the play and characters throughout history.

The only reason that I gave this four stars instead of five is that it is not as well organized as it could have been seeing as how there is so much information to sort through, and often people looking to do light research of Macbeth would not need the depth it covers.

For anyone directing Macbeth, it is an essential reference.
