Rating: Summary: This book is a winner... Review: I have heard a great deal about Banished to the Ribbons of Concrete as well as reading many reviews on it and I will agree it is a good autobiography of a man called Jack Vink. Someone not many of us have heard a great deal about until you read his book. There is one thing I have learned in life, and that is form your own opinion. And my opinion is this, although he is not a famous person it is one of the best books I have ever read. His story is compelling in that it keeps you captive, up to the very end. This author stirred up my emotions so much there were times I could not sleep. I just kept thinking about him somewhere out there in this country on some little back road trying to survive. I have read the book twice and enjoyed it just as much the second time as the first. Liked the way he writes and makes you become involved in his follies. Banished to the Ribbons of Concrete has become my favorite book of all time. His chilling story of survival has enriched my life for the better that is why I am writing this review hoping others can experience what I have.
