Rating: Summary: a great, unforgettable read Review: I was told about 10 years ago to read this book. (if i could ever find it) i searched for it for 10 years. A hardcover edition came my way. I clutched it and read it all weekend. I loved every word. The author conveyed some very basic feelings. Feelings that make for a complete relationship and committment. I gave my hardcover edition to a "David" of my own. I was lucky enough to get another one. Everyone i know is on the lookout for this book, for me.
Rating: Summary: My favorite book of all time Review: I've read this book many times over the past 25 years and have lost my copy and want to read it again! It's that kind of book. I'm hoping to find a copy somewhere and want to add my request to the publisher to reprint!.....
Rating: Summary: Rereading my torn paperback copy for the ? time. Review: Although a reading of this book today makes me wish the author had been a bit less obvious in her "preaching", I still love this book. It is truly a story of love, commitment and faith. Reading it as a high school senior in 1970 opened my eyes to issues I had never before faced. Find it, buy it, and you'll be glad you did. I also recommend "That Man Cartwright" by the same author.
Rating: Summary: One of the best books I ever read. Review: A moving story about integrity and love. I read this book many years ago. I would welcome the opportunity to share it again.
Rating: Summary: I loved the book. Review: I read this book 25 years ago in high school. I am trying to locate it to read again as the story was very inspiring.
Rating: Summary: One of the few "must read" books of the past 30 years. Review: I have read this book only once and it was a library copy. I need to read this book again and I must have a copy of it for my personal library. I hope that the publisher recognizes that the public wants a re-release
Rating: Summary: Great Book. Review: I read this book twice about 20 years ago. Moving around I lost it. I hope there will be another publishing
Rating: Summary: An Inadequate Eartquake Review: Five Smooth Stones is a book which, after reading it, you feel yourself lucky, and different just because you read it.
If you did not read this book, there is something missing in your life about love and understanding.
Even after several years, being as inadequate as an earthquake, this book's impact can still be felt.
.
