Summary: A first novel if ever there was one
Review: I've read one other Sheldon novel and have to say that I thought Bloodline was excellent. The Naked Face kept me interest enough to read it at one go but it was definitely a first novel: too many attempts at repetition by way of trying to help the reader to remember/appreciate what happened a few pages ago for my liking.

A good story reasonably well told.

Summary: Sheldon Has Improved
Review: Ok, this was the Master's very first novel. I might have given him a higher mark if I had not read Bloodlines,Master of the Game,The Sands of Time and the Memory novels first. Though this novel is not as exquisite as his others, it does show how MUCH Sheldon has improved! Since I am such a die-hard Sheldon fan, it breaks my heart to say this but if you are new to Sheldon, I would not recommend The Naked Face as your first pick (or any pick for that matter). Please try some of the later novels that are mentioned--they are thirst quenchers!

Summary: Very bad end.
Review: The first 3/4 of the book are good enough not thrilling but you'll be entertain, the part that Dr. Judd is hearing the tapes of his patients is boring but you can stand it, but at the end, SS thought that he has written enough and that he has to end the book no matter what, so he ends it with a fight and who you think wins to a mob prizefighter?

Summary: Nice, but his later books are better
Review: The first Sheldon book I read was Tell Me Your Dreams, one of his latest works. I only read The Naked Face after writing to Mr. Sheldon and receiving a response, telling me about his first book. As much as I love his books, his later works are my favourites. The Naked Face is easy to read and enjoyable, though nothing really extraordinary. Perfect for a lazy afternoon.

Summary: The Naked Face
Review: The Naked Face is a terrific "first" for Sidney Sheldon. From the beginning to end it keeps you interested and when I say interested, I mean curious as to what's going to happen next. What can I say, it's a murder-mystery, so it will keep you guessing as to who the suspicious stalker/murderer is. Although it's not his "best" it's still a good quick-read, to enjoy and satisfy the simple things in life - reading.

Summary: This book was suspenseful, it kept me on the edge of my seat
Review: The Naked Face was so suspenseful I could not put this book down. I wanted to continue reading just so I could find out who the killer was. Everyone seemed to be a suspect.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great Suspensful Quick Read
Review: This book isn't as long as some other Sheldon, so what? It was very good! It was fast paced and suspensful. I liked WAY better than THE SANDS OF TIME. It will probably appeal to people who liked MORNING, NOON, AND NIGHT.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Classic Sheldon Style - Brilliant!
Review: This is Sheldon's first published work and well reading. It follows the story of a phycoanalylist and his unknown stalker. Not as heart stopping as some of his later work, but never the less well worth the read.
