Summary: Cute look at catching the one that got away
Review: Who hasn't wondered about the one that got away? In this story, the main character gets to find out, and I loved joining her along the way. While you could predict where this would end up, this wasn't necessarily your typical happily ever after ending, but it was the right one. I liked that the character was strong, even if Reilly was a little too weak for my taste. All in all, enjoyable.

Summary: Lots of fun
Review: I really enjoyed this book. Not only was the author's voice sharp and witty, but she took a shot at answering the question so many women ask themselves: what if? Who hasn't wondered what would happen if they could get back the one that got away - and the fact that the main character is already married makes it all the more fun. I especially liked that the ending didn't take the easy way out, but instead forced the character to come to terms with her actions. This book was lots of fun to read, and I highly recommned it.

Summary: Great fun!
Review: I loved this book because it didn't take itself too seriously. The entire premise is a little out there, but not implausible! But it was precisely because the premise was unusual that I liked this book - not some formulaic chick lit where the girl likes the boy, has a crappy job, etc. The character's choices may be morally ambiguous, and I liked that. She's not perfect, but she's human. Who hasn't had an old boyfriend that had them wondering, what if?

Summary: Divine!
Review: I couldn?t wait for this book to arrive in the mail, and I was NOT disappointed. I will not go into the premise of what the book is about, that is covered in other reviews here. But it was a fun and enjoyable read that had me laughing in my cubicle on several occasions.

First, Prudence is not a bad person, although she does some bad things. Her heart is always in the right place, or so she thinks. I LOVE the way this neurotic little New Yorker talks to herself all the time! I can so relate, I felt like she was my soul sister. Of course, I have not DONE the things she does! Her friends were SO amusing and true to life. I know many Chads and Daniels and a few Jennifers too. Don?t know any Sophies, but I?m quite sure they exist. I really found their actions and comments very amusing. Matts way to California for my taste friends are also very amusing.

It also shows that Prudence gets what she deserves in the end, and in reality, that is not all bad. She finds a lot more than a man? Won?t say anymore as to not spoil the ending.

The only thing is the book had a few instances that were not quite right. After going out of its way to point out that NY time is 3 hrs ahead of LA time, it later tells us that Matt (in LA) calls Prudence (in NY) when the LA new year has been rung in?and it is BEFORE NYC?s New Year is rung in. That just does not happen! LOL. Also, the statue at Rockefeller Center is Prometheus, not Atlas, as the book states. But I can deal with little mistakes like that when the book is such a pleasurable read.

Great for a day at the beach or a lunchtime escape. And it makes you think, do you REALLY want the one that got away?

Summary: I hate to love this wife!
Review: I have read alot of "chick lit" books and by far this is the best one. It is funny, and sexy and just makes you happy to read. I have read it twice already. It's the perfect book to take to the beach this summer. The main charecter Prudence is great...

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: FABULOUS
Review: Great summer read. Funny from start to finish. Ms. Coburn has such a talent for writing.
