Summary: Two stories in one book
Review: Both stories were well written and spicy. The men were well rounded characters you actually liked. I'm not sure which of the two stories I liked better... I do like the idea of a thirty something woman going back in time and ending up in the body of a slender blond eighteen-year-old. Perhaps that is the yummiest fantasy of them all- if only we could all do that! ;)
My one complaint though is that the stories were not longer...

Summary: Two very good stories
Review: I was actually quite pleased with both of the stories in this anthology.

"The War Lord" by Jaid Black is quite entertaining, if a bit unexplained. Janet, the heroine, is transported back in time to when real Scottish men wore kilts and killed with swords. It seems she lands smack-dab in the middle of a real Highland raid. Of course, at first, she isn't sure her eyes aren't playing tricks on her but when she is unceremoniously scooped up in the large arms of the hero, Euan, she realizes it isn't a dream.

Euan and Janet were really cute together, and of course their love scenes are typical JB HOT! This is a true romance erotica, with just enough flair and pancea to make it rememberable, if albeit a bit unexplainable.

"Keiran the Black" is also a another good story of unexpected time travel. Templeton does a good job with the story, and adds some very funny and different twists.

Elizabeth is transported back in time by grasping a magically enchanted sword. Amazingly, and quite interestingly, she is transported into the body of a young and naive 18 year old who has been wed to Kieran by force in the middle ages. It doesn't take long for Elizabeth, who in her previous life had been a sexually frustrated 39 year old woman, to accept the gift she's been given (Heck! I wouldn't mind being 18 years old again, but with the experience and knowledge of a forty year old) Easily giving up the pleasure of modern convenience for a chance at a new life, she works on trying to dissect the animal magnetism of her husband, Keiran.

For a bit of light reading, cause both stories are pretty short, this is a good book. The romance is stong in both stories, and the sex scenes are erotic and satisfying.

Summary: Romance, 1 Erotic & 1 Sweet
Review: Jaid Black's God of Fire in her part of Warrior was very erotic. The hero of the story was very dominating to the point that I wanted to smack him. But that's part of the appeal of some of Ms. Black's stories. In some ways, the erotic part of the story overshadowed the romance part, mostly in the beginning. I loved the humor of the book and some of the love scenes were absolutely scorching.
Julia Templeton's Kieran the Black in her part of the book was actually very sweet for an erotic romance. It still had the erotic part but she was also able to make it seem tender. The heroine was very witty throughout the story and was more of an equal to the hero than someone he could dominate. Not likely to make any pro-feminists angry, hehe!

Summary: Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Kieran the black & God of fire both timetravels & fantastic. Very hot, very enjoyable reads. 2 modern-day women are sent back in time to medievil Britain & the Viking era.

Keiran the black is just perfect, hot, sizzling & tenderness.

Jaid black's story God of fire is very typical of her works that I have read so far with the exception of "The possession". I am reading the Trek Mi Quan series at the moment.

I look forward to reading more of Julia Templeton's books in future.
