Summary: READ ALL THREE PARTS!
Review: Do your self a big favor and read this book. Make sure you read all three parts- The Bounty, Men against the sea, and Pitcairn's Island. It is an absolute shame that most people have only read the first book because the other two are just as good if not BETTER! My personal favorite is part three ,the last book, where the mutineers find an island and try to live on it with a limited number of women. Oh how the fireworks fly!
Then, be sure and check out the movie - Mutiny on the Bounty starring Marlon Brando. That one is the most accurate version, and I have seen all three. You ladies can admire Brando, while us guys can dream of being one of those lucky sailors landing at the paradise know as Tahiti.

Buy this book and read within a week, and you WILL want to explore to the south pacific.

Summary: A book for all ages..
Review: I first read these three books my first year in Highschool. I loved them.. the action, suspense, and the excellent character development.

But a true test of a books greatness is its ability to be enjoyed by people of all ages. I recently grabbed these from the library, and was pleased to find that they had lost none of their thrill.

They are excellently written books that all ages can enjoy.

Summary: Wonderful books
Review: I give my highest praise to these books. They are far better than current "adventure" stories because of the struggles they had to endure. I found all three books in the trilogy to be excellent (Mutiny on the Bounty, Men Against the Sea, and Pitcairns Island). My favorite one was Pitcairns Island. In all the books I have ever read, this is the first book that ever actually sent a chill up my spine. I won't give the story away, but you will not believe what happens in that book. It's absolutely thrilling and fascinating!

Summary: A wonderful and romantic reading experience!
Review: I had read this trilogy for three times and every time I got excited and attracted as well. This's really a good stuff both for learning something about the remote while still inspiring adventure seriously and for enjoying an ever refreshing adventure
leisurely.
I think a book mixed up with romance, adventure, fate, evolution and piturestique scenes is just excellent!

Summary: Excellent story of this seafaring epic
Review: I have read these three books in the past. Probably 20 years ago. I have not yet read this actual book. However, I can vividly remember all three stories of the set. They are incredible. I bought this volume because the price is right and the story is one that can be read again.... I am hoping to introduce naval fiction (the age of fighting sail) to my friends. This set would be a fine way to do that.

Summary: What a great book this is!
Review: I have read this bok twice so far and am about to begin reading again. Action-adventure literature doesn't get any better than this. All three stories are thrilling and take you off to a place that is so vivid it is as though you are there. A MUST read.

Summary: Time travelling at its best...
Review: I read the trilogy while traveling to Tahiti and was enthralled by the juxtaposition of the 200 year old narrative, which seems quite accurate, and the modern day Tahiti. The people are no less engaging than they were in the time period of the book. The feat of Bligh is made more impressive by first hand viewing of the seas and the islands, and feeling the strength of the currents...and the rapid changes in weather, etc.

A modern visitor could long for the more idyllic times, and one can fear the impact of modern culture on the values of the people of the islands. But, the book provided a much welcomed alternative to the views I had first hand, and I was able to detect much of the same spirit among the Tahitian people I met in my short stay.

Summary: amazing!
Review: I read these stories while at sea on a British research vessel. If you've ever been to sea, or have ever wanted to, you'll probably enjoy reading this trilogy. Nordhoff and Hall write in plain, unelaborate English, so the phrasing never gets in the way, and you can concentrate on all the colorful characters and incredible events. The first two (and half of the third) books are written in first person, putting you right into the action and events, making you think about what you would do in the situations as they arise.

This trilogy has it all: adventure, drama, comedy, history, life at sea, love and loss. It's hard to believe this all really happened. I've given this book to two of my friends already, and they both liked it. You'll probably like it, too.
