Summary: Cussler's Best
Review: I loved it.

Cussler's best books weave history together with adventure and mystery to keep you turning the pages. Treasure is his best effort, ranking just above Raise the Titanic. While you can't imagine the events of the novel actually coming to pass, the plot is solid enough to avoid the "Oh, come on!" that accompanies most of Cussler's plot twists (which reminds me: avoid Sahara).

Besides, realistic analysis of ethnic geopolitics is not why you read a Dirk Pitt book: You want to read a story about a cool guy who always says the right thing at the right time and who comes up with new ways to be courageous at every turn.

Treasure is that book.

Summary: I love it!
Review: I absolutely positively love it! It has just enough politics to match in with action, and the plot is great: I tried to guess what would happen next but didn't really succeed at anywhere else but when the Ibn guy entered the cave at the end, where I just guessed that it was him who entered and not one of the soldiers. Anyway, I recommend this to anybody who likes good plots... it's like an Agatha Christie with a lot of action put in.

Summary: Its depth is epic.
Review: I have just read it for the second time and it once again proved to me that Clive is one of the best writers in the world. The story line is unbelievable - A rich family is trying to take over Mexico and Egypt, to do this they have to kill a lot of people, but guess who comes to save the day, Dirky!. As the story unfolds, a treasure so important is intorduced, the GREAT LBRARY. (The treasure has to do with not only the bad guys but also the plot!!) Anyway, tonnes of action in between and the story rolls along and as usual an absolutely ammazing ending - eg, over half a million mexicans charging the U.S army!! An acient Roman soldier appears and almost saves the day, the greatest trick of them all! If you read it you will never want to watch a movie or read another book unless it is about this book!!

Summary: Very exciting novel
Review: I have read all of Cusslers "Dirk Pitt" adventers. There more of a rush than a great roller coaster ride. Open one up and hang on!

Summary: great first Cussler book
Review: This was the first Cussler/Pitt book I had ever read and it was the best book I have read at the time. A friend had given it to me and he gave me some other books along with it I read the other ones and then I read this book I was just blown away by how thorough it was in its discriptions, ever since then I read every one of his knew books and everyone of the old ones I could get my hands on. I've read other books from other authers but everyone and everytime I always say to myself (with out knowing it) when is Dirk Pitt going to come onto the sceen but then I remember that its not a Clive Cussler novel.

Summary: All right
Review: TREASURE was the first Clive Cussler novel I had ever fully read. I'd got SHOCK WAVE out of the library but my interest wandered after about five pages because it was so boring. I then read TREASURE. The opening sequence is better than most. Most of them have a boring sequence of a boat sinking, but TREASURE opens with a battle scene which is far better than any other. The next thing to happen is an airline disaster, then a zany car chase down a ski slope (it's the best scene in any Dirk Pitt book of the three that I've read), a shootout at a chalet in the snow, another shootout in a mill, and finally and hand-to-hand fight scene inside the library of Alexandria. As I read the other Clive Cussler books, I realised that the dialogue was terrible for an experienced author (my favourie exerpts are "His diabolic mind" and "a sandy beach")and there are many, MANY boring scenes with politicians in every single book. Okay.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The greatest book by Clive Cussler yet.
Review: This book by Clive Cussler is the best book yet. Some of the political points are a bit implausible but nonetheless,it was fantastic entertainment,it kept me hooked to it from beginning to end. I would recommend it to anyone with a weakness towards thrillers.

Summary: Cussler and Pitt at their best!
Review: Two words, Dirk Pitt. Dirk Pitt is the true action adventure hero. An American James Bond you could say. In Treasure Dirk Pitt goes up against the most feared, and respected, assassin in the world. Also at the same time he is in the middle of a search for the treasures of the Library of Alexandria, and is worrying about his own love affairs. I think this book is a spine tingling thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. If you like Bond movies, or any other espionage/action flic, you will love this. Make your next book Treasure, by Clive Cussler.

Summary: ANOTHER GREAT BOOK BY CLIVE CUSSLER
Review: Without a doubt this book was great... all the way through, Clive Cussler is truly a magician with words and I have never read a book quite as exiciting as this... overall a great book to read... order now!

Summary: Cussler Thrills Again
Review: This is one of the best Cussler books out there. It's suspenseful, packed with action, and loaded with plot twists to keep the reader on his or her toes. The second half of the book is loaded with action. The only complaint I have is that the President is generic and easily convinced of anything. He seems to be more of a puppet.Still, I heartily recommend this book.
