Summary: These books are among the best I've ever raed!!!
Review: Several of my friends have read these books, and we all love them. Valley of the horses was a bit too long between happenings, but altogether they were great. They're also interesting because some real archeological have been taken into the story (I've read this somewhere). But we're all waiting for the next book (or wasn't it supposed to be two more?), and we're still waiting... as many others, as I've read on these pages. If I could get some update on when they will come, I and my friends would be happy...

Summary: Best series I've ever read
Review: A wonderful, well-written series. I've read these books several times through, just dying for the next one to come out. The characters are captivating and Auel draws you into their lives so vividly you don't want to put the book down. The history and story-line are so well researched it's sometimes hard to imagine you're reading fiction. When the fifth in the series does come out, I will reread each and every of the previous books in order to capture the full beauty and richness of Ayla and Jondular's lives once again. I just wish the author would finish the next segment.

Review: I love these books! so much in fact that I have had to purchase several copies to replace worn out ones. I have crossed deserts and ice with Ayla and Jondalar, laughed and cried with them. Now they are home What!! I have been waiting 8 years for the next book in the series. Looking constantly in bookstores and now on the web does anyone know when it will be out !!

Summary: Excellent,a really great read, waiting for book 5.
Review: I first read these books many years ago when they first came out. I passed them on to my daughter and she read them as avidly as I did. The stories are really well researched and absolutely believable. The characters are vivid and the storyline is rich and colorful as it pulls you in and holds you there 'til the very end.This series of books are well connected to each other...BUT...we are STILL waiting for book #5 and will read it as we did the four before it...in as few sittings as possible!

Summary: Great Portrayal of the Ice Age!!
Review: I think this is a wonderful seires for lots of people to read I first found the seires on a book shelf at home and started reading Clan of the Cave Bear because I didnt have anything else to read. At once I was caught up in Alya's life I couldn't put it down untill I finished it. Since then I have bought the other three books and am waiting for number five I found this series fasinating. Wonderful detail I felt that I was watching Alya grow throughout the seires. I realy liked Baby and Wolf

Review: I've read and reread all of these books and thought that all were wonderful, can not wait till the next book is released. Seems to me I'm always searching the bookstores for it but it never comes. PLEASE don't leave us hanging, write the next one.

Summary: A touching and inspirational series.
Review: As a college student, my time is limited. However, when introduced to Clan of the Cave Bear, I finished the book in under three days. If you don't like the evolution theory, don't read it. Excellently researched, Auel creates a fantastic journey for Ayla, the woman with no people. I cried, I laughed, and I gawked. I recommend this to anyone who has half a heart. This series really makes you think about our distant ancestors and the hardships they had to endure for survival.

Summary: Every summer I read these books, and I never get bored.
Review: The "Clan of the Cave Bear" books are simply the best reading you will ever hope to have in your lifetime. I have reread them for the past two summers now. It's sort of a tradition for me. Rereading them just makes my summer that much more enjoyable. Please, I need to find out when the fifth book is coming out! Is there anyway to let the faithful readers of these books know, so that we can finally stop wondering? I think its time we've stopped waiting.

Review: I couldn't put the books down once I started reading them. I can't wait for the new book to come out. I hope there will be many more.
